why you need to avoid canvas? i'm thinking about doing this on the runstar cx and i think it would look really nice.

With the technique I used to make holes for the lace hooks, I believe that the canvas might fray and the hooks won’t hold. I could be wrong tho. You can maybe try using an anti-fray glue to secure the holes 🤷🏻♂️

Should work the silhouettes are almost the same. Just note that you’ll have a hard time to punch the holes in the toe part of superstars

1 lace (that your shoe come with) + 3 laces of 120 cm per shoe If you skip the first lacing, you can make it work with 1 lace (from your shoe) + 2 laces of 120 cm per shoe
