If a crackhead says don’t do drugs because it’s bad for you are we going to ignore the message? If a prostitute says to respect yourself and not sleep around with men should we ignore that message too because of the person who said it? Quiet as it’s kept a lot of the artists back in the day who sang love songs “ respecting women” were some of the worst abusers, liars, and cheaters. Putting out good respectable songs doesn’t mean the artist themselves are respectable people.
