What's crazy is them mentioning "Pickle Rick" at the start, which also won an Emmy, was their way of betting this one would win too.

Fun fact that whole silent montage wasn't planned. They under wrote the episode and adding dialogue in post is a nightmare, so they just filled up the remaining minute count of the episode with this love story that was absolutely off the top of their heads.

This is one of my favorite episodes. From the absurdity of the premise to the completely last-minute improvised long gag about Morty's girlfriend being the best part of the episode, to the title being "The Vat of Acid Episode" to the episode summary being "The one with the vat of acid." It's just perfect.

I like the sincerity of whoever wrote the episode about their opinion of Ant-Man and the MCU in general. Because either Ant-Man isn't their favorite franchise or the way they discovered time travel was so "easy" and "simple" that it became one more reason for them not to do a time travel plot with the snakes episode being a class of "why not do a time travel episode".

This episode brought back a memory of me reading a book in High School about people in airplane crash in the mountains and they ate one of their friends. But yeah , Rick is extremely petty 😂
