See description for chapters. As of June 25, 2024, 7 Minutes of the Director's Cut, which I've been told was 20 minutes longer than the Final Film. About 1/3 of it has now been released to the public. I think the proudest thing is finally seeing the Akira Takarada Cameo. I wish he was able to see it but I can finally rest now knowing that it's here now and we can see the original Godzilla actor's final role in the franchise.

The deleted scenes does really have the darker story and vibes. A corpse, injured man scenes were pretty dark

Most of these scenes I felt should've been kept in. The first one showed the horrors of radiation. I really hope there will be an extended director's cut one day, I'm still shocked that these have now surfaced. The briefing scene worked so well, like it felt haunting watching it, just the footage without the characters being shown.

the emp scene and 9:25 scene were crazy, that massive scary shot of godzilla had so much potential

Ella's emoting was unique. Her face showed the amazement, fear and shock. She stared, catching her breath. Damn great acting.

Sucks that majority of these scenes were deleted, I feel like theses would improve the human side and making the monsters more impactful

I’m just now noticing that the Femuto was using the Vegas Eiffel Tower to reach higher and swat at the helicopters. Cool little detail.

Ngl, the corpse of the dead miners actually got me good because this is my first time watching these deleted scenes and they are so interesting.

That jumpscare at 1:50 was very creative in its execution- a camera flash. It got me.

Honestly, I feel like Godzilla 2014 is only film in the monster-verse that is in my opinion worthy to be compared towards Minus One & Shin Godzilla, including the delete scenes, like wow, this would've been a good rated R Godzilla film, props for Gareth & his folks for trying to pulling this off, while he can, and now viewing the Monster-verse so far, I'm definitely think they should've return to more realistic portrayal of monsters like here, whatever villains will go head to GxK, I feel like now more than ever is be serious, beside imagine the last MV film, we get the San Diego comic-con scene as goodbye knowing that show is over, but Godzilla will always live on

Tjis is why G14 is my favorite monsterverse movie , I like how dark tone is the story , the mutos , how they slowly show the Big G , and how they change our view on him , I like how despite all ford went thow , he's still fighting for his family, what a chad, also I like the fight scenes of Godzilla and the mutos , although shorts it pretty cool

I have waited 10 years for this

The one thing I like about godzilla 2014, was the poor ominous, mysterious, and titanic vibe it gives. It shows the perspective of humanity well, along with giving us a great story for our human characters. Godzilla and the mutos themselves feel real in a horrific and primordial sort of way, with their slow movement, and the impact you can truly feel with every hit they take or make. I miss this approach to giant monster films, but sadly monsterverse movies these days are just all about action, the human stories are not as good or as realistic and impactful as the one of this film. And I know this is suppose to be fictional, but the fast and goofy movements are just so of, especially now with the lacking cgi that 2014 had. And lastly with monarch and so much information about the titans and the world now greatly understood and the perspective of most humanity no more, it lost that great sense of ominous and mysterious feel it had, and the horrific perspective of the people against these monsters and the true damage they cause, unlike now they are seen as heroes and not causing obvious death and destruction at all, and especially the radiation, which this film has shown how horrific and dangerous it is. Sorry for this long comment. I just wanted to say this opinion of mine.

I still love the movie we got. But man imagine if it was more like the Comicon trailer, leaning into the horror aspect, that would have been amazing.

Serizwa asking The irradiated Miner what happened? scene is similar to the scene from Roland Emmerichs Godzilla were Jean Renos Character asking one of the surviving Japanese Victims what he saw from the ship attack. The only difference here is that this Scene is Effectively Horrifying. Im pretty P*$$&d Off that all of These scenes weren't included in the final film. They really should've kept most of these scenes to actually increase the fear factor that the Audience is in for.

Reminiscent of that 1998 scene with Jean Reno and the old Japanese fisherman who survived the initial attack, "Nani ga okotta, Nani ga okotta?" "What did you see, old man?" "Gojira, Gojira!"

This is why 2014 mv goji’s film was the best compared to the KOTM, GVK, and GXK mv goji films. People just turned their brains off watching those films. This right here is what makes this film an honored mv goji film that stays to its roots. The only thing is, is that gojira in this film is a hero. He should’ve been the 2nd main antagonist of this movie.
