My People! My People! My People! Here I am 9 years later...still enjoying my church culture in a fun way! I'm 73 now, a grandmother, and a Mother of the Church; and this just brings back so many wonderful memories of growing up in the traditions of the 'Black Church Going Experience!' This video reminds me of the church I went to growing up in Berea Ky & the one that my great-great grandfather helped to start. I miss them hot summer afternoon services when we had a guest church come to visit. Back when they SANG, not sung, without any music. It was just the harmony of the old folks SANGING & the tapping of their shoes on the wood floors. This old man named Bill Gentry who was friends with my great-grandparents would occasionally do a song called " Oh Lord I've Got To Lie Down, How Shall I Rise" with the congregation only singing the chorus. Let me tell you that to this day as a 45 year old man, I still don't know what in the hell he was saying & nobody else does either, but it was LIT... LMAO.

Men wearing skirts has nothing to do with clothes made for women 🙄in general .That's a ignorant mindset of yours plus women wear skirts,pants, jeans,dresses,shorts,and rumpers we wear it all , that's like saying men who wear shorts (the type that are made for men) is feminine.clothes come in variety for seasonal purposes as well you act like every woman walks around sagging their pants that's why men jeans are made bigger in siz e than womens idk who taught you that logic and I don't wear skirts anymore because my thighs to thick for them and too revealing I have a curvy body with big boobs and smaller waist and a booty so some stuff women shouldn't wear cause it's too revealing(doesn't mean there aren't women who wears skirts anymore) . you have to be reminded the fashion game has changed from then to now for women especially black women ,I don't know where you getting your logic from .
