The fact that you called yourself a millennial leads me to believe you are barely a millennial like you’re the tail end, meaning you are a mid to late 90s baby. Us 80s babies who lived through and actually experienced the 90s when it was happening, we don’t call ourselves millennials even though we are the OG millennials lol.

It’s funny how as kids we all watched Ricki, Jerry, Jenny, Oprah and more discuss some major topics. Yet today, people think kids and adolescents can’t handle those topics.
@elijaharvinger1178
@elijaharvinger1178 2 жыл бұрын
We watched but honestly those shows weren't MEANT for us. I mean Jenny Jones frequently talked about women with outrageous breast enlargement. Jerry Springer was all about promiscuity. Rikki , Montell, Donahue, Richard Bey, Geraldo Rivera , all covered really dark topics at the time too. Topics I don't think they had school kids in mind when they decided to air them. The only one who was "mostly" family friendly was Oprah.

Really? I never was attracted to her show. I believe, like Jerry Springer and Maury , she contributed to promoting the negative ghetto stereotype that is damaging the black community. Exploiting black people is big business.

So glad they are speaking to our audience. I saw their documentary about birth control and that week took it off and felt 10000% better since. If I knew all those issues I was having were from my birth control I would've taken it out earlier.

The Business of Being Born was so good. It confirmed my choice to have my second child (unmedicated) and naturally. And birth control definitely has more cons than pros. I learned at a women’s conference that birth control should not be taken over 5 years and it kills your sex drive.⚰️🥴

This interview saved me from a C-Section. This started my journey on getting a new doctor. I drop two doctors during my pregnancy. I was without a doctor 2 weeks prior to my due date. Against every thing the doctor said I successfully delivered my baby vaginally in the ambulance with no medical intervention no medicine. I labor at home for a long time. I say all that to say this ladies please trust yourself and your body. If you are against something with your pregnancy get a second opinion. The business of being born was awesome and open my eyes on what goes on with birth. Especially if your black its even worst. God talk to me through this interview. I will forever be grateful.
