Got a mini for hubby as Christmas gift. I doubt he knows of their existence but I’m tired of seeing him take cold sandwiches to work especially in winter. I think he’ll be a fan.

Oh he will love this for work. It's a perfect gift.

Brilliant! I think I'm going to wrap a big towel around the cooker to insulate it so it cooks faster and doesn't lose heat through the container!

A little frozen shrimp, with some soy sauce or Teriyaki sauce, is excellent. How about having it cold as a noodle salad with cucumber, radish, or other crisp veggies?

I think Maruchan makes the best cheap ramen noodles. Their flavor packets aren't oversalted like other supermarket brands. Hot, drained noodles can be delicious with flavor packet contents stirred through them. I also like ramen boiled soft for 5-7 minutes. It's a great base for cheese sauces enriched with sour cream in a double-boiler, or for creamy pasta salads.

You should mix dry with the wet then put in the noodles

I recently found a 12 volt hot lojic at a second hand store! I have cooked frozen dinners in a couple hours. It is not fast, but only takes 45watts, and as it shuts off once the temperature is reached maintaining temperature takes less energy.

if you mix the seasoning with the water it would disperse more evenly
@michellejohnson29463 жыл бұрын
i agree. it would be more uniform throughout instead of clumps of seasoning here and there. i would have mixed the water and the seasoning together first, then added the noodles.

Sriracha for breakfast???? I'd be sick the rest of the day lol! You can take those noodles and make your own soup in the hot logic. Mix fresh veggies and whatever broth you like, and create a different soup for your breakfast, or whatever. Great job! Thanks for sharing. Take care and God bless!
@RickMammana7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, It was good though! It's nice that you can just add whatever you like. The Hot Logic worked great for this. Thank You :)

I just ordered this, however although is referred by many to be a small portable oven, my understanding is that it will cook, but not bake. I can wait to just get an assortment of raw seasoned meat, with frozen vegetables, and just take it to work!!

You'll love it. I use it at least 3 times a week!

I stumbled upon this device (on monday) while at work and ordered it after doing brief research.I am getting mine tommorow.. (at work LOL).. so hopefully in enough time for me to try this.. I am actually very excited because I spend about 7-8 bucks by going over to the local hospital cafe and I want to cut that out but i commute over an hour, I have little time for food prep and can't cook things around my partner so.. I am hoping this will solve my expensive lunch problem. I HATE heating things up in the microwave and all I need now is a small mini fridgein my office and I am set.. I could probably make a down and dirty ramen spaghetti or something.. thanks . I saw your Instant Pot videos too... do you still use yours?
@RickMammana7 жыл бұрын
+Caelidh Goode Great! You're gonna love it! Yes I still use the Instant Pot and many other pressure cookers. Thanks for watching! Enjoy. :)

That thing looks nice, I work construction and would rather eat at the job site my own cookin vs goin out to eat, how long does it take to heat up leftovers, what does the average temp get to, that thing would be sweet for my work, I making meals all the time haha, what is the pricing with the glass dish and top
@RickMammana5 жыл бұрын
It's perfect for work like that. It gets up to 165 degrees that's equal to the low setting on a crock pot. It can heat up leftovers in about 2 hours and cook from completely frozen in 4 hours or so. There is a link in the video description for pricing and a discount.
@tcrwild84225 жыл бұрын
Very cool, thanks Rick
@BlueTheJLU3 жыл бұрын
@EastEndery I've cooked frozen chicken in mine and it was definitely done. The recommended temperature for poultry is 165 degrees. Anything over that and it's just drying it out. The great thing about the hot logic is that it cooks slow and evenly while holding in the moisture so the meat stays tender and juicy.
@dwtlax5 жыл бұрын
Can you do a meatloaf in a hot logic?
@RickMammana5 жыл бұрын
Yeah maybe as it gets to 165 degrees, but you wouldn't want it too thick so the ground meat gets done completely.
@PMMcDaniel5 жыл бұрын
??? It's supposed to be SOUP, (see front label) you are not supposed to drain the water, in fact you should have more water. The seasoning needs to flavor the water also, for a tasty soup. But thanks for the experiment. I love Ramen. Especially the Super Spicy Korean ones. I will be trying this in my new Hot Logic I got a couple weeks ago and am loving it. I was searching for recipes and found your video.

2 hours to cook ramen vs 3 minutes! Totally not practical but a fun video to watch. I'd never heard of this little oven until I found it on your channel!
@BlueTheJLU3 жыл бұрын
Maybe not practical if you have a stove or microwave handy.. but the HotLogic is made for people who travel or work in an office and don't have access to a kitchen. I can set mine on my desk when I get to work, plug it in and go about my day and then have a hot lunch ready to eat without having to stand in line to use the communal microwave. And for truck drivers these things are wonderful. My husband has the 12V version and it's saved him a ton of money already because he can let his food cook while he's driving and have something nice and hot to eat when he gets to his destination.
@BlueTheJLU3 жыл бұрын
@EastEndery Yes. I use mine a home almost daily. As for the car connector.. that depends on your vehicle. If your cigarette lighter plug keeps power when the vehicle is off, then yes.
@patricialynnpruitt43833 жыл бұрын
Lots of folks don't have access to a microwave... even more now with pandemic restrictions.
@michellejohnson29463 жыл бұрын
the best way to enjoy it is to do it over night. that way whenever you wake up to your morning or night, your food is ready. you have wasted virtually no time at all since you were sleeping
@adamfroman79832 ай бұрын
Your machine is broken..It is supposed to keep all the food in there at 165 degrees..You even had it in for two hours..I had the same problem..The company will replace the element for you ..
