Rick Shiels Golf good and interesting review. Play off 19 (soon to be lower) and would not of bought one anyway but if there was a shed of interest I might off had in getting one of these too good to be true deals you have convinced me not too. I think if I was spending £150 I would get a decent genuine mid range driver or a decent high spec second hand one. Cheers Rick and keep the videos coming 👍

Well, also note... 1. Before he even hits it, he points out it has more loft than the actual M6, but the both actual M6 and the fake are adjustable in that aspect, so why not adjust the fake M6 to match the other club to even out the testing? I mean the dude pulls an adjustable driver out of the box, hits it in it's default condition (which is obviously ill-adjusted for his game/swing), and declares it "absolutely horrendous". 2. Beyond my first point, after he hits a shot that goes high and right, he seems to make no adjustments in his stance and setup to the ball whatsoever to correct the flight path based on the previous swing, as most any golfer would in reality. In short, this video amounts to, "Look, here's my much more expensive, genuine M6 Driver, setup properly for my golf swing....let's see if I can buy a cheap clone, leave it as it comes out of the box, not adjust it for my game at all, and see if somehow it works as well as the more expensive driver".

Noel Kerns very true and well said BUT....it also literally broke 3 shots in...so would all that adjusting you were talking about make any difference to the conclusion of Rick that it’s just a terrible driver and not worth buying? Simply no.

@@ferenz1574 - Well, I'm not saying this is a good driver, I'm just criticizing his lazy, illogical approach to comparison testing. And as far as the driver "breaking" goes, he immediately gave up saying "the screw came out". It's a screw; Can it not be put back in? Sure, it would have been a problem on the course, but likewise he didn't investigate any possible fix, either (or potential error on his part on initial assembly). Again, I know nothing of this driver beyond what's in this video, but I do know a flawed evaluation method when I see one.

Change your grip on your left hand clockwise a few degrees. See your slice go away instantly... It will prevent your wrists from twisting the club face before impact. (And the opposite if you are left handed).

This video is great! I went to help my friend purchase some secondhand M6 driver and 3 wood. Everything Rick pointed out was this exact driver/3 wood from paint dots, tinny sound on the carbon top, unknown shaft brand etc. Saved my friend $400 👍🏼👍🏼

I dont think so. I think when you've been designing something to be the absolute best, it's small things like the speed injection resin that squeezes just a little extra performance. It's when you're at the top of the game that you have to find ways to stay up there. That's what makes engineering interesting.

Considering Taylormade drivers won 2 out of the 4 majors last year... They can’t be too much of a ripoff. Ping and Srixon won the other 2. You can criticize the cost and marketing for sure. But their performance is proven.👍

i bought a driver from wish and actually drove better not as far but much more accurate and consistent all he's doing is getting paid by taylormade to show their product and how good it is over fake ones no credibility. Where was the ball tracker and look how he changes his stance.

The proV1s weren't fake they were actually real ProV1s just old knackered ones that had sat at the. Bottom of a lake for 5 years before being resprayed. I've been playing about 6 months (after not playing for over 40 years since I was a kid) I 7was buying lake balls(Callaway Supersofts) as I was loosing 4 or 5 every round. Now I can actually finish the round with the ball I started with(most of the time) I've started to think about playing better balls. Don't agree with this high handicappers shouldn't use this or that. Club or ball. As long as you can actually hit the ball a 3 piece ball is going to play better than a 2 piece ball. And I actually learned to play with bladed irons and wooden woods. You soon learn how to hit bladed irons as it's pretty painful to your hands arms and wrists if you don't. Unless you can justify £5-6 a ball(I can't as my game isn't that good) You're better off taking a walk around your local course at night with a UV torch. If it's exclusive like the course near me you can pick up plenty of hit once PROV1S for free. I've picked up between 80-90 of them in the past month (and well over 600 balls in total in 4 visits of around 90minutes) . As long as you're strict about quality and throw out anything thats scuffed and only keep the shiney like new ones you shouldn't have a problem with duff balls. I have put aside as practice balls well over 200 of that 600 I've picked up Because they are scuffed or discoloured or were cheap balls in thr first place. I've bagged the others up by brand and type Which are mainly Titleist Callaway Taylormade and Srixon with another mixed bad of Bridgestone Vice and Kirkland basically anything 3 piece tour spec and in good condition.

I ordered one M6 too, after playing one round head come out from the shift. The Shift is fake as well, the weight of swing weight was E3 and shift is way bigger ans taller as 47.75 inch.

Ironically...I bought a M6 last year. Took it to a driving range to test it out. I was so excited to have a nice driver. Not even twenty swings in and the shaft snapped just above the head. Turns out a good driver couldn't withstand me hitting the heel too much. Luckily Taylormade sent me a replacement for free and I love the club!
