Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZfaq channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

Literally cannot stand watching Guy He talks too much. His golf game is so pedestrian. I pushed fast forward 10 seconds every time it’s his turn to hit and I have to do it two or three times before he’s done trying to explain the shot that he eventually doesn’t hit. It’s annoying make him go away permanently. Please anybody but Guy in these videos. Guy does more talking and there’s more video footage of him than Rick in this video It’s disgusting.

Big fan of the channel. Just some thoughts on a couple of things: 1. Would have been great to get some more comments from Dave on the course design. Knowledge of the course makes watching the tournaments more interesting and decision making by the players often makes more sense. Think you missed the chance of delivering some unbeatable content. 2. You can either do stroke play or match play, both at the same time never works. Even if you had called it 'Break 75' and only played stroke everyone would've loved it.

Another fantastic on course review and detailed analysis of the upcoming Ryder Cup venue. Not only was the course looking extremely unforgiving and tough, but the layout and options for different types of shots was very tantalizing. After watching the course design podcast it was really amazing to see the thought put in behind the actual build. Stunning course with little nooks and crannies everywhere. Turns, bumps, twists and hollows the keep it interesting. Ryder Cup week is going to be special. This course will sort out the field. Love the content Rick as always! I have to say something though. I started watching because you were a great instructor and being able to see you play good on the course was a treat because we have all known and seen your videos and learned alongside of you. Recently, it seems like the cycle of making content has made it so that you barely practice and hearing you say that you were ready to put the clubs down for weeks doesn't sit right with me. We would love to see you playing better in these videos because it's necessary for viewership, we can only take so many holes of bad shots back to back to back (not speaking the course, speaking technique/contact/shot choices etc) before we have had enough. We want to see you playing your best golf, so maybe you should make a series where you call out parts of your game that need improving and listen to older videos on yourself with what you previously instructed so that you can use that to make content, get better, promote your other videos, and also prove that what you were recommending before will actually work! Love the content and have been a big fan for a long time! Cheers

Let your channel and subscribers down badly here Rick, went to break 75 with a match play side, game played that badly that you dropped the strokeplay game, ended up a match play game with 3 foot gimme’s. Be a little bit more true to yourself and your subscribers Rick. If you play badly just post it, you’ll get a lot more respect

I think he said they filmed this 5 or 6 weeks ago. Just enough time to fix divots. But I'm surprised there letting any play before the Ryder.

They had to play the par 3s from the up tees they said on the video....and in theory they shouldn't kill the tee box with driver from the 4s and 5s...as for the divots in the fairway, for the Ryder Cup the only concern is a turned ankle on the way to their ball lol @@chriscanavan5219

Rick, club house member here! I know you’ve been putting in a lot of work into your team and golf (your chipping will get there!) ha ha. Your hard work is paying off! That opening to your video gave me goosebumps and has pumped me for my weekend round. Great work team. Come to Aus! Play well. Cheers Keith 🍻

Ok, no hate, but the title is clickbait, you surely cant do a break 75, be ten over over after a few holes, switch to matchplay and then not give a stroke play score at the end... The truth is Rick has struggled with his game all year.. maybe one of his devoted fans could actually go back and count his break 75 scores...

He shot 84 at best, 87 at worst. As soon as he said stroke play was over, I grabbed a pen and paper and said "NO ITS NOT!!!!. Probably shot 87 bit they didn't show every hole being putted out

@@dannybell926 To be fair, you are right, I had him at 11 over if he missed no short putts, which is better than the 15 over last time out.. what is interesting is how rarely he actually does simple break 75s..

Would have been nice to spend time asking the course designer questions instead of listening to Guy telling us how he hit it too hard, no actually it was too soft, actually the face was too open and other such nonsense from that random word generator.

Why don't you give the correct distances? You played a 444yd hole labelled a 523. Too many KZfaq golfers do this. Make your 235 yard drives look longer.

I wish these golf clubs would give better KZfaq golfers the opportunity to play before the big events. Watching Rick and Guy chop it around these courses is getting a little tedious now. Rick keeps saying he’s working on his game but it can’t be true. I think he’s got lazy.

Listening to Rick's excuses the whole way round is painful viewing. Your ability is what it is at your age now so showcase these courses for what they are and not what you can't shot around them.
