Great video Rick Steves. My husband and me are from Brazil and today live in Portugal. This country is very beautiful with a magnific nature, the valleys. We want to know Douro Valley. Thanks for sharing to us. Great video.

short and sweet video to the point, I did have to do a Google search on what are artisans I don't think we have any over here but I'm in the know now, so rick, not just a geography lesson an English lesson as well you didn't tell us how they turn wine into Port (I know how to turn bread into wine) keep 'em coming and I'll keep 'em looking "thanks"

My recommendation in Porto is : visit Jardim do Morro in Vila Nova de Gaia and after the sunset have a dinner in Bistrô Bom Gosto, the same side of the river. They have a fantastic food.
