He’s talked about his distaste for cancel culture before, but he’s definitely not immune to it. The Golden Globes could stop hosting him because people found him too objectionable or offensive, and people could boycott his movies and shows as well. Essentially, they don’t care that he doesn’t care.

A lower level... Seriously, British humor has historically been absurdist. Slapstick, men in women's clothing, over-the-top situations. The biting sarcastic stuff is recent, and lifted from other sources. You can get sued for saying things like that in the UK.

A mark of a good comedian is that he hammers you so much that you don't have a comeback. Why? Because a good comedian is cruelly honest and that can't be argued. May Ricky Gervais's God bless him!

Given that God created him with this awesome sense of humour I wonder what heaven is like during Ricky's jokes and DVDs, I bet God laughs like crazy at some of his stuff. From a fellow Christian
