The late Ricky Lawson was a professional drummer from Detroit, Michigan. He performed with numerous award winning acts including: Michael Jackson, The Brothers Johnson, Passage, Toto, Earth Wind & Fire, Lionel Richie and George Duke, to name a few. In 1986, Ricky performed with the Yellowjackets (which whom he was a founding member) in his hometown and his cousin and my company were blessed to film them.
