Fair play to Taz - he backs his guy, but is still willing to give Carter credit when he does something good. Best way to do heel commentary, in my book.

He’s not a heel commentator, it’s just color commentary. Heel commentator always backs the bad guy, Taz doesn’t do that. He just backs his guys.

Props to AEW for going the extra mile giving even the enhancement talent their own music and entrance video. Always nice seeing new guys like Carter and Legacy take a moment from their usual entrance schtick to look up at the AEWTron for the first time. And Carter with the Japan moveset. Great first effort!

Ben Carter looked really good here. Quick, crisp and very athletic. AEW keeping him around would be a really good look. Also: Ricky Starks is a star. He just does all the little things so well.

Ben Carter is amazing, think of all the great matches he could have with the roster. Possibly the best jobber match we’ve had on dark, or one of the best matches we’ve had on dark in general.

SIGN BEN CARTER. That was arguably the best AEW debut and definitely one of the best AEW Dark matches ever. Ricky's a future star no doubt but that Ben Carter was VERY impressive

Cosmolore it doesn’t have to be every cruiser weight in the devision but it would be nice to have something the guys sitting on the back burner can chase after maybe only have weight classes on dark or their second show their about to get

@@nachoman6311 I think that's why the TNT Title was created. For the Secondary talent to make a name for themselves. Right now it's been given to 2 established stars to give it prestige & after that's done, the guys like Ben Carter & Ricky Starks can feel even more important when going for the TNT title

I watch every match and segment of starks i can. Aew and anywhere else i can find him. He’s so foar ahead of so many of these guys. Love his finish too. Needs a finisher he can do to anyone as well. He doesn’t have a crazy style either. If he got a little bigger and stronger then it it would open up more moves for him to do to bigger guys which would make him even better and open to work with more talent in a big star role which he is. He could easily be the biggest babyface or heel in the industry if he wanted to i think. Him and mjf are the fucking future and can actually work

I remember watching my first AJ match in 05 (vs Petey Williams) and I'm kind of getting the same vibes here with Ben carter. Not necessarily in the way they wrestle but in the feeling that something special is on display. Good luck to you Ben. Can't wait to watch you vs Scorpio Sky.

Because Ricky Starks turned heel and aligned with Taz. Notice how Starks new titantron features orange hue in it now which is Taz's favorite color palatte.

This was actually a good little match! And yes, Ricky Starks probably has the most catchy entrance music in AEW right now. Really disappointed that even though AEW brought pyro back, the entrance music game is SO lacking... Jim Johnston is available now, why not hire him? Because our entrance themes are trash mostly.

A lot of these guys aren't 140 pounds...people get it all wrong... even Ricky is almost 200 pounds....and the cruise weight title won't make them a big star...look at 205 live
