Ricoh GR IIIx Went TOE-TO-TOE in Street Photography w/ Sony A7IV

The Ricoh GR IIIx is a camera that has gained popularity in terms of street photography due to its image quality, sharpness, film simulations, and that it is pocketable. I've watched some KZfaq reviews of it even claiming that it is the best camera for street photography. The Ricoh GR IIIx is definitely an interesting and fun camera to have.
On this street photography vlog, I challenged another photographer based in Hong Kong and decided to use my new Ricoh GR IIIx to find its capabilities given some constraints. Josie used her Sony A7IV which is a camera that should perform better on paper as it is a full-frame camera. On this challenge, we explored the To Kwa Wan district in Hong Kong and did 3 photography challenges, all with different constraints to make us think outside the box. The person who loses will get a consequence for a next street photography video! This was a very fun day doing challenges for street and I think both Ricoh GR IIIx and Sony are capable cameras for it, but who will win?

Nice collaboration. To be honest, during the video, I more and more hoped that she would win. Not because her images were better, but I just want to see you humiliate yourself in the next video 😅 but I did learn a lot from this video. I'm not a real street photographer I always try to avoid people in my shots. But how you use them and look for them is great! So good video but a bit disappointing that you won 😂 grt guido

Oh definitely Keith is going to win 😂😂😂 the win was a small margin and it could’ve gone either way (as shown by your preference too 😁) hence the conclusion being like that. Im sure it will be fun! We still need to find time that works for both though.
