I appreciate your video so much! I am brand new to EM 1010, my training isn't until January 19th so I'm just looking at the machine and getting a little overwhelmed & excited to get started!

I could feel the apprehension when you did the first trace. Its tricky when your trying to get the maximum area to use but you have the limits of the frame as well to be aware of. There is almost nothing worse then hearing a frame crash! Having had a few over the years I rather do my designs a smidge smaller then risk a crash. It can be very costly both in money and down time. The end result was a very pretty bag. Great job.

I'm still trying to figure things out with the tension on the machine ... there are times where I get so many loops on the design and not sure why. I'm hoping that I pick-up on something while you're teaching on your Ricoma.

I like your video.Question when you get free sample of embrlem and you get a paper that tells you what color and how many stitches. how do i use to make that design ? I'am new to all this. please help me.

Hello! I'm not 100% sure I understand your question but this wasn't a free sample. I paid for this design. The sheet that tells you colors and stitch count is called a Run Sheet. It helps you see step by step what colors to set on your machine. I go over all of that in this video :)

Hi, I need some advice about the Ricoma EM 1010. I just purchased one, but I haven’t received it yet. I thought I did adequate research but for some reason now I’m seeing some people who are giving it very negative reviews. This has made me a little bit nervous about such a an expensive purchase. What is your honest opinion about the machine?

Hi Adriane! I'm so sorry I'm just now seeing this comment. In my personal opinion, every brand is going to have positive and negative reviews. I've seen people say terrible things about Melco as well. I love my Ricomas and am hoping to get a multihued soon! The problems I've had were user error and not knowing my machine well enough. The few issues I've had that weren't user error were very easily resolved through customer service. I hope this helps!

Kayla I got an EM 1010 and I need to know if I can go more than 30 stops because some designs has 33 stops but I only see 30 squares on the screen Thank you
