Y'know, I've never had any particularly strong feelings about Tekken, but if I ever get my hands on Ultimate, I think Kazuya will become my next main by virtue of how fucking cool and varied his moveset looks as well as the appeal of having a stone-cold motherfucker like Kazuya use his badass electric martial arts and demon powers to beat the everloving fuck out of platformer mascots, anime swordsmen/women, literal goddesses, and a fuckton of characters from other franchises.

He is a very good character, and his versatility is directly proportional to his difficulty of use, because it comes from a game that is not easy to dominate ... and you know that in fact Kazuya is very simple to use in Smash in Comparison to how difficult it is to play with him in Tekken?

Easiest way to do ewgf based off the videos I have seen. Is that while inputting the fwd down fwd input, the moment you reach to the down input you should be already be pressing the attack button and also inputting the last fwd as fast as possible. So if I were to put actual input to do it them it would be Fwd down+attack fwd

@@brandonlee8123 Idk, you can spike very safely on stage with Ivy and no Kazuya ever recovers that high where the Ivysaur threw the Dair out, you either go low, horizontally with Side B or honestly even higher and land with an aerial but that’s probably the worst option.

Tip when doing EWGF 1. Do it slowly first 2. Do it calmly 3. Once you get it consistenly start doing it faster

Riddles is the master of new characters. Started with Belmont, then went to Terry and now Kazuya and made all of them look easy to master. I think he may have actually been a Slap City player. I know at least one of the early Belmont players was a Slap City player.

Practice ten minutes every day, watch tutorial videos and get a feel for it in training mode. Start with raw EWGF and build up to bigger combo's and different situations (down throw -> EWGF, N-air --> EWGF, EWGF out of run, EWGF out of shield). If you master those building blocks, put them together and practice the combo's you see in this video.

@Ben Pereira Nope, you can dash forward wait a while and auto turnaround will make sure it hits regardless of DI. May not work on all percents and does require some timing Also, you can react to the DI by watching the blue arrow that indicates the launch angle. The blue arrow takes DI into account and because of that the victim can change the blue arrows direction while in stun by EWGF. However, many people don't know this and just hold in or out making it an easy reaction for the Kazuya player. I noticed this while watching Leo vs. Riddles long friendly set at summit, it's on Leo's channel if you want to watch it. I noticed Leo got hit less and less by the EWGF'S as time went on so I took a closer look

We need a kazuya player who knows how to do ewgf, canceled moves, super wavedashing, and constant stuns op spacing and sometimes natural combos for a mixup.

Riddles can EWGF, Kazuya cannot cancel his moves except standing D-Tilt, ViedViper probably has the best wavedashing I’ve seen, I don’t know what constant stuns op spacing is and Riddles is really good at reacting to his winning encounters in neutral with immediate follow ups into true or custom combos.

Riddles makes him look really good but he gets easily walled out by spacing characters and battlefield stages. Samus and sephiroth are really good examples. But the most important thing is just to not play to his rhythm. Once you keep fighting him at his pace he dominates. Stop letting him get his combos off. Just space against him and you will be fine. Other than that somebody please tell riddle that his face mask doesn't protect against covid 19. He needs to get a cloth one with multiple layers for the best protection. Those hospital ones don't prevent droplets from coming thru which is how covid 19 mainly spreads. And I'm glad he is showing off up b more. It was a highly underrated move

Face masks are meant to not spread one’s own droplets outside their mask, not to protect. Idk about face masks that actually do protect against outside droplets though

This character is so busted 😂. Ridiculous damage output, hit stun, auto turn around, 10 hit combo, needless comeback mechanic, infinites, 0 to deaths, really good recovery, super armour on smash, crouch camping, A simple input reflect that does 2.4x. He’s completely overpowered. People say well you need to learn the inputs, you don’t when he can kill you in about 4 hits. Dumb character and stupidly designed.
