@@mrgrizzlyrides I can understand wanting to ride! I've made a few improvements to my cafe along the way and each time they were a revelation in this bikes capabilities. New Michelin road 5 tires transformed the bikes handling a lot. Ivan's flash tune was mind boggling coupled with an Akropovic header, keeping the stock muffler. Then a yoshimura windscreen out of Japan and last a K-Tech Razor R remote reservoir compression adjustable with ride height adjustability as well as preload and rebound. But the tires and ECU were the best mods

@@sfzx54 Wow, that’s some upgrade list. The Akroprovic header’s with stock muffler is interesting though. Your RS will feel pretty special to you now, making every ride more enjoyable.

Thanx Ian. Yeah the bike has a reputation as a hooligan bike, like the 350LC I suppose. I’m not to bothered about riding fast these days, sure, I have my moments, but, for most of the time I’m quite happy tootling around. Wouldn’t like to take the RS down that lane you took us down on your last video; perfect Enfield road that. Take care my friend. 🏍👍🍻😋

It’s a nice bike and it does have a rep of being a bit of a hooligan bike. Handling is good, it’s comfy, plenty of power, not to bad on fuel. My wife likes the pillion seat and her foot pegs are fine. The stock exhaust sounds lovely and people stop to talk to you about it, especially as mine has the Z1B blue paint scheme. That’s all relative to how you ride of course, a hard rider who pushes his/her bikes hard might find the bikes handling limits easily; but for the way I ride nowadays it’s fine. Hope this helps. @@mrgrizzlyrides yea I notice you don't mention the fuelling.ive got a 2022 model as well and agree with everything you say but the low speed fuelling when I first got the bike was awful. After the first service it was better 👍

@@itsthebandit2977 Yes fuelling. I know it’s an issue with these bike from their release. I rode a mates before I ordered mine; it had just over a thousand miles with a 4 into 1 Yoshi and fuelling was just about spot on. I must admit I’ve only done 300mls on mine and I have no issues with the fuelling even from cold. It is much better when cold than my CBF1000A7 that I’ve had from new. I believe later model RS900’s like ours are supposed to be better than older models regarding their fuelling. You say yours is now much better since the first service, so that’s good news. My CBF runs crap on unleaded fuel when opening the throttle from low revs, like on roundabouts or corners, and I mean crap. Super unleaded just about cures it but I’ve sorta learned to ride round it. It’s funny isn’t it that we can ride round certain issues? I’m old fashioned, give me a set of carbs any day over fuel injection! I hope your enjoying your RS as much as I enjoy mine. Ride safe.
