+Macro Man i couldn't find anything out there on IOMC. You seem to be implying there's something sinister about the club... In my original post i said it's a "great club". Truth is, I don't really know that. Only going by videos, club web sites... but i like the concept of the club - a club for (mostly) law-abiding bikers. i belong to that type of club myself.

This comment makes no sense. "You gotta earn the patch" ....from who? Other mc clubs? How do you think they came into riding together? Earning it from some other clubs that didnt exist? No, they just did, same as these folks.

Every state has a "Coalition of Club" . Usually there is one dominant club is the state. The prospective club approaches the dominant club or the state coalition of clubs consisting of most of the existing clubs and asks to become a club. They start off as a prospect club and earn the patches. Just like a prospect earns his patches in an existing club. This is the way it work. It makes sense because this is how its done the right way. I know from first hand. I worked my way up all the way from a rider in an RC all the way up to president of a 1% club as well as officer in the state Coalition of clubs. Iron Order didn't follow respectful protocol. The just formed an MC and handed out patches.

They formed an MC, like the first clubs did before it, they didnt hand out patches they had their guys earn their patch just as any other club did. From what I read they tried to reach out to 3 contacts from their original area but all 3 of them gave different answers. But given that was from 2004, and now its 2017 I think enough time has passed to let them do their own thing.

Not a brother of the IOMC, haven’t even met any. However, I do know the history of several of your “major” 1% MC’s and I have hung around a few when I was in the club life.... you do realize none of them followed a “tradition”. In fact, quite opposite. Your “bitch” clubs follow “tradition” or “protocols” and if you want to be a bitch club that’s fine for you... it’s your right to have another club tell you what to do, but for some it doesn’t set well. If you call yourself a true biker, it wouldn’t set well for you either... MC’s started as “freedom from the man”. You didn’t have to follow “rules” super imposed on you. Let’s look a Mongols for example... they started up because Hells Angels wouldn’t let Latinos join. They didn’t ask HA if they could wear it, they just did! Ok, so the “pig” issue. Yes, according to them they allow law enforcement in the club, but so has 1% clubs (knowingly or not). but folks that talking about “snitching” are there not cases in 1%ers “snitching”? I mean look at George Christie... he was an HA President and now he is spilling the beans in interviews and books. Hell, even “Lil Dave” did an interview with Lisa Lang (in his defense he didn’t really say anything negative about his club). Let’s focus on the killings... there has been killing in every club and everyone of them wants to cover it up... its human nature. Some beat the system, some don’t. It sucks, but it happens. Now, I have seen post that says IOMC starts shit with other MC’s and then calls the cops. I think, if that’s truth, it’s messed up... I can’t say it’s true for certain though. I can say this, I have seen a lot of folks saying “Fuck IO” or “Urine Oder” and other stuff, however, I haven’t seen many (if any) of them saying anything about any other club. So, stuff like that kinda sways the pendulum in favor of IOMC... Anyway, that’s my opinion.

@@waylonwilson7262 Funny I clicked on this, and saw your comment. Two days ago Lil Dave came out as an ATF informant. There are some IO patches that are guilty as charged. What nobody seems to want to discuss is they seem to be concentrated in one area, and connected to one of the founding members, "Izod", who's out bad, and founded Iron Legacy MC. Get off the East Coast and IO is from what I can see, trying to make things right. It's also important to point out that IO is not, and has never been, nor claimed to be, a 1% club.

I earned my 1%er patch and I earned my rockers and center patch. Are there outlaws in 1% MC's? Absolutely. But then again there are cops that are dirty also.Not all 1% clubs are criminal . Being 1% doesn't make me a killer or a drug dealer. I am a self employed business owner and put more taxes into the system then most people I know. I work hard and I play hard. 1%ers live and breath respect. You respect me and I respect you. The men in my club are my brothers. We ride thousands of miles a year together. We live life the way we decide. Being a 1%er and having that designation also means our level of commitment to my brothers, my club and this lifestyle is more then your local HOG chapter. 1%er lifestyle means I live it everyday I breathe and not just on the weekends. It means I wear my cut like a badge of honor. It took me 6 months of Hanging around and a year of prospecting to EARN the right to wear my cut. My CLUB earned the right to fly its colors by going through the proper channels and building a club up over 25 years. Our club owns real estate and is run like a business. My point? If MC.s and 1%ers have a problem with Iron Order its that they didn't and wont follow protocol. Iron order is not an MC. They call themselves an MC but they are really an RC. If they were flying a single piece center patch with no rockers nobody would give 2 shits and they wouldn't get the lack of respect they get from the MC world. When you give 2 years of your life to earn the right to wear a 3 piece cut and then a club like Iron Order hands there shit out like dinner rolls its frustrates the ones that put in serious time. Hook up with one that's done its time and earned the respect of the others in your state. Earn your cut the way we all did.
