Everything is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I don't understand why old bikes and cars demand a premium, but there's usually someone willing to pay for them.

Great share/story. What state/country was this meet in? Im in socal and know he rides regularly near me on his guzzis mainly. I unfortunately have yet to run into him. Though many of my mates have.

This was Bike Night in Roswell, GA (2nd Tue). I asked him if he was still an ambassador for Guzzi and he confirmed he was. He was flying out of state a few days later and has houses in LA and Scotland. I don't if I'd want him as a close friend, but he's a nice enough guy to talk to. I have a couple of friends in the movie business who know him better and like him a lot.

It looks great in person. I did a paint correction and ceramic coat after this and it really pops now.

Excellent history lesson Sir Richard. If there is anyone who can speak in detail about this wonderful Swiss Army knife of motorcycles, it’s you. You have been a long time fan of the product & model. Beautiful color equipment. The autograph on the panel is a keeper! Like the commenter suggested. Just about a replacement. Congrats!

Well no repairs, recalls, or parts required so far! Even the 600-mile service is on BMW! I've owned 10 BMW's including 5 GS's and never had a single issue, despite circa 12k/annum mileage. I wouldn't mine Ewan's finances though!
