How much does it costs to rent a big bike in Phuket, Thailand?
How can you rent it and what documents do you need?
I received many of these questions... so...
Today I bring you with me to one of the biggest big bike rental shop in Phuket.
Sayan Big bike is in Patong, and has so many great motorbike for rent.
Yamaha R1, Honda CBR1000R, CBR650RR, Yamaha MT09, kawazaki Z900, Z1000, Kawasaki Ninja, Harley Davidson, Honda CB500X, T-max, and many others..
You will see all of them any many more in today's video.
In this video will meet Pai which will show us different motorbikes and their price per day and per month.

I've CB500X (2020 model) really very good bike, great handling, fuel consumption much better and low maintenance..overall Great bike👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Hi Gabi, nice to see this video. I know Sayan Bigbike shop there. It's next to the "cabaret Simon" that street. I had hotel near Sayan and passed there every day. My next hotel in December NOW 😀, will be opposite to the shop, on the hill. This year i've bought 2 new tires for my Ninja ZX12R, costs 310€ (360 USD), incl. assembly. @@ridewithgabi I was checking on the insurance it was asking for Thai drivers license would you know if international drivers license be good ? Don’t mean to waste your time

@@nyciron Don't worry, As you can see below, Passport copy is enough. “Buying motorbike insurance is simple & easy To apply for motorbike insurance, we will need the documents from you as below (This applies to every insurance companies) : Apply through our website or contact a customer service representative. Submit a copy of your Passport or Thai Driving License. Submit a copy of your Green book or Registration or Deed of Sale. Pay Invoice Premium You’re covered. The original documents (policy) will be sent to your mailing address within 7-14 days”

She's a real Champ handling those big bikes , i compared with Chon Buri prices and i must say she well positioned in the rental market Plus she has a huge and premium bike offer .. Thanks Gabi for sharing this nice vlog . great job. ( Love the little kid too )

How about if someone want to make a roadtrip for ex. A part if South thailand , can i rent a bike and just make the roadtrip? Coz i hard, you can'r leave for the Provinz with a Rented bike.

Can you give recommendations on where to get big scooters? I had a place I went to in Karon, but closed now. Planning a January stay in Phuket. Thanks

It depends what kind of big scooter you like. This shop in the video also has tmax, Honda ADV, etc. While if you are looking for a cheaper and smaller option such as Honda pcx, forza, n-max, x-max, etc. you can find it all around the island. I would choose first the location where you will stay in Phuket and then find a nearby shop. The island is big! :)

Maintenance is not expensive for bikes if they are not driven. But thanks for the vid.

Just visited few days back, the shop has shifted to another place. Lady was a bit rude but we still managed to rent 5 superbikes, bike's were good and your passports are safe and they don't ask for license, just don't mind when they speak rudely

How about for Scooter 🛵 prices? Do you think traveling in Phuket by scooter is a good idea? And do you have to have a insurance to rent any kind of bike?

Scooter is the best and most common way to move around scooter. This video is for the passionate bigbike freaks like me! ;) You can easily rent a 125cc scooter for 200-300 baht a day. All around Phuket. You don’t need an insurance, but I highly recommend it.

Yes a passport as deposit. So people will not run away with a 400.000 baht bike 😉

The insurance you linked seems to be on year basis? How do you insurance the motorcycle if you ride it for a week. Paying three times the cost for insurance and a whole year doesnt sound reasonable?

Unfortunately at the moment they stopped to offer insurance for short term rental. Sorry. You might have to find another insurance provider.

I have the Z900RS, more comfy than the regular Z900. Agree the CB500X is a nimble, fun all-rounder.

Beware of insurance scam in Thailand. Always attach go pro. They always target international passengers.

Just make sure to take a full video of the bike before leaving the shop. So you can compare before and after. And also you can ask the fixing costs in case of scratches or accident. Hoping that nothing will happen. 🤞

This Lady was such a rude an very uneducated person We went to rent a bike and she was not giving details properly and shouted us for the details we requested for each bike for our clarification to decide which bike to rent But i must the BikePhuket service was excellent very friendly company
