I fitted knobby tyres to my 2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 and here is how it's handling the new footwear.

Good, honest review like always. We need that more than over hyped journalist. Thank you Warro.

Much appreciated

Great to hear about the performance of those tyres Warro because the sure make that bike look great, especially in blue haha.
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
Couldn't agree more! i'm happy with the tyres but not as good as the combo i put on the suzuki vstrom 250 SX
@petersteen4014Ай бұрын
A good choice, Warro. The low-sprung weight and wider stance of the Classic make the tyre selection fairly obvious if you live near dirt, mud or rutted surfaces. The side-stand lean can always be sorted out with a flat plate weld or carrying a 5lb brick under the seat
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
that brick idea is one way to look at it...lol all the best!

Given where you live and the type of riding that you're doing, these tyres are well suited, Warro.The noise symptoms you describe are very similar to those I always encountered when I was driving Land-Rovers, back in the day. Saying that the front of the bike lifted when the missus got on the back is a minefield, mate! Brave man! 🤣
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
yeah but i didn't make her walk it out...lol i may go back shortly on the vstrom sx. apart from that tyre are good. i was out today on a dirt road run...solo actually did a clip up later today. all the best!
@robertward1367Ай бұрын
London calling, thanks for the tyre advice I think I’ll stick to the road tyres until they wear out. Have to say you Misses was brave going on the back over the rough she must be tough and you don’t see many people two up off tarmac. Cheers for now.
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
yeah i cant see her back on that rack in the near future. she said pretty rough ride there. out today solo on dirt and clip up later today. those tyres run well on dirt and a softer ride too

Wise words Warro! Always ride sensibly with a passenger especially if it’s the wife!😉 Dirty dirty Classic 🤟
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
yeah i could see trouble brewing if i set off up that new section of track road with a bike not really balanced...lol i'd been over the top before on the halcyon blue so knew what or how steep it really is. anyway next time back i will run the suzuki vstrom 250 sx and my bet is it will run that hill with absolute ease. all the best!
@robertward1367Ай бұрын
London calling ,I must have missed the rear damper change video I’ll have to check your past downloads.ta.
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
i tried them and they were no good so no longer on the bike.

Looks great mate, reminds me of when I was a kid, I had a suzuki b120 with nobbly tyres on,I loved it nearest thing I had to a scrambler, great fun and old memories 👍🏍🇬🇧🙂
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
must admit when looking at the classic 350 now the attention is drawn straight to those big tyres...lol
@findingneutralАй бұрын
Very neat how you customized the bike functional and looks wise for that cheap. Well done.
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
Thank you very much! got out of it easy but still have the good factory panels

I had Mita E07+ on my Pan Am, similar slow steering problem, that I only notice when I put the original Scorcher tyres back on. I had no problems on sealed roads in the wet, and I ride pretty aggressive on the Pan Am.

strnge thing is when i fitted these to my suzuki 250sx previous clip two days back -no issues on that bike

I had K70s on the Bullet and the rear one did 16k kms. Couldn't get a new one in time, so we decided to put a TT100/K81 on yesterday. Riding home from the shop was just as you said, wobbly. It'll take me a minute to relearn and break it in a bit. Odd peaked profile on the K81, compared to K70. I'd guess it's designed to have a bigger contact patch on the lean, but don't know tbh. "Trigonic" they call it. I wonder how it will run with mismatched tyres, hopefully there's a break in the weather and I can go find out. Those nobbies look great but there's not a lot of dirt around here to use them on. Cheers, Warro.

what i put on the suzuki i think are a better match and its in the last clip. either way i plan to use both bikes on the dirt as plenty of that here. all the best!

Looks cool, I've got the same classic but for off road use I prefer my 2000 Suzuki DRZ, mostly because it's much lighter 😉
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
totally agree. just bought the suzuki vstrom 250 SX and its great on the dirt

I loved the video, Warro, as usual, but what's up with the shocks? What the heck are they?
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
they are ones i now class as no good...lol and since been pulled
@baldyglenАй бұрын
Looks great. What size is the rear tyre ?
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
just a 120/90/18
@ruahinesriderАй бұрын
Bike looks fantastic Warro.

thanks... a bit different.

I thought you was roughing up the guards to paint them gloss black. Will you be stressing the tank and sidepanels? Look forward to see you ride the off road tracks.
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
have no plans to touch the tank or side panels as it would be very difficult to get those especlly the tank back to a new look. i like the look of a bitzer you could say ...lol
@dondle2Ай бұрын
Nice one Warro, the sanded patches on the mudguards match up well with the colour of the tank. Have you tried to air down the tyres to about 15psi for off road work. ??
@jurassicnev67Ай бұрын
It's a good point. I usually run my knobbies on my other bike at around 15 to 20 psi
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
it runs pretty well on the dirt so im not sure how the tube tyres would handle it and the risk of a pinched tube. overall for what i do i think it will be good or far better than the stock ones
@jurassicnev67Ай бұрын
G'day Warro , Neville here. I've only just bought a classic 350. Reborn and I want to put knobbies on it as well because I do a lot of bush exploration. I'm not sure if you mentioned it. I didn't pick it up. Would you mind just writing down in the comments, the type of tires and the specifications?. Thanks very much mate and all the best to you
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
check out my previous clip on the suzuki vstrom 250 sx. if i was buying new tyres again i think this is the way to go. same brand and tyre rear with a different front tyre. that combo is extremely good and i think better than these
@tomr8761Ай бұрын
What do you think about the rear shocks?
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
rubbish...lol back to the stock now
@nikhil.sundarАй бұрын
Is the front 110/80-19 ?
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
it is
@hughmac7423Ай бұрын
I think the "sandpaper" are a future regret.
@ridewithwarroАй бұрын
maybe...lol but this bike was a red/chrome and i still have the original red/chrome guards and tank in perfect order so its just a straight swap back. all the best!
