Ridgid’s new backpack sprayer. I couldn’t find any videos so here is one. Online it says it can reach 37 feet but those plants are 26 feet away and it’s not reaching. I even tried a bigger battery but no difference.
Oh well. Who cares? It works great and looks great. Model #R01VNM
Oops. The drip seen at 50 seconds was excessive because I hadn’t tightened the bottom of the nozzle head. It doesn’t “leak” that much at all.

I want to purchase one seeing that I already have a lot of Rigid tools so I already have the batteries.Would you recommend this sprayer after using it for awhile now?

If you already have the batteries trying this out is a no brainer. You can always return it if it's busted or take advantage of the lifetime warranty. Honestly I've only used it twice to spray my garden. I don' have any complaints. The whole contraption feels solid and "heavy duty". Take my opinion with a grain of salt though because I've only ever used the HDX pump sprayers...

Man I really want this because all my power tools are ridgid but the reviews on Home Depot site is making nervous..

I saw someone complain about the wand. The wand is not that serious to me. It feels fine. Someone else complained their pump switched on on it's own. On the handle of the wand is a circular knob thingy. I loosened mine just a bit and it caused the pump to kick on. It causes a drop in pressure or something and it makes the pump cycle not stop. I bet that's what happened to the person. It took me a minute to figure that out. Another reviewer noted it seems like a rebranded Ryobi pump...well, no duh. That makes a lot of sense considering that Ryobi, Ridgid, Milwaukee, and others share the parent company (TTI) so it's not shocking that parts are shared between the two...kinda like GMC and Chevrolet lol Just try it. Damn, now I feel like a Ridgid rep LOL

I got the Milwaukee m12 sprayer thinking about taking it back to get this one as that one is too small for my yard. How does it do with pumping out all of the liquid in the tank, someone on the Homedepot website said they had a whole half gallon left in the tank.

I don't know about a whole half gallon but it's inevitable to have some left over just because of the nature of how the mechanism/ hose is set up. When I use it to spray neem oil and Superthrive (watery) there's no issues. When I spray thicker stuff it struggles getting the last of it out but not a big deal to me. I can email you pics of the inside of the tank if you want. sgarcia8028@gmail.com

@@28samz I bought it anyway. I’ll do some testing and see exactly how much is left but it looks like I can just tilt sideways and get most of the product out.

The only way I could envision someone having a half gallon left in the tank is because the pick up tube wasn't installed or fell off. Otherwise there shouldn't be more than maybe 6 oz in the tank when empty.. They really could have designed the pickup tube better as its a soft U shaped rubber hose with a plastic filter on the end that rattles against the tank bottom when spraying. It makes 50% of the noise this thing produces when in use..

@@jeremys3987 yea, I took the Milwaukee back and got this one and it wasn’t even close to half a gallon, more like half a cup. Not I only need to refill once to do by whole yard, glad I tried it for myself.

Have you used it more and had issues with the orange straps? Apparently the orange strap would come off the frame. That was a major complaint on the HD reviews.

Yeah, I've used it a handful of times to spray that Sevin bug spray stuff and separately to spray neem oil and SuperThrive. I have not experienced any problems with the straps or the unit. I'm still very satisfied with it :)
