I have the mid torque impact wrench, and I can honestly say that it is all that most people will ever need. I think I paid $169 for mine, but it was a daily special that included a 4.0 max output battery, a charger and a bag. I couldn’t pass it up.

Ridgid is very underrated in the tool world, first tools I got were ridgid and I ran them hard and still works like the day I bought them, moved on to dewalt and some ryobi tools but still have my ridgid tools for rainy days and it looks like storms are coming

@@DiligentDave1966 yeah, don’t get it if you’re not gonna use it. I use mine periodically. I bought mine about a year ago for $269 with the EXP 8 ah battery and a max output 4 ah battery packaged in for free. I haven’t seen that good of a deal since. It was too good of a deal to pass up.

Ive used rigid for over 10 years. Ive had everything they make at some point or another. Theres 2 issues ive had with rigid. I bought one of the vaccums one time and it was garbage. The most important issue is that they arent water resistant at all. If they get wet, you are buying new batterys. Last year i lost 5 rigid batterys due to minor water contact. I just recently swapped to milwaukee and i have noticed some of the rigid tools are stronger. For me that isnt as much of an issue as the batterys crapping out all the time. Id gladly pay a lil extra for the better batterys.

I've seen several channels test the drill against the others. It doesn't do so good. Even with a 4 speed gear box. Especially the price. Always in the comments people still try and tout it because it has " the best trigger control". Woop ta dooey if it does. A person could buy a big powerful drill of any brand and also a compact version of any brand for the price or less than a festool. With the 2 sizes of any other brand you would outsize and out power a Festool. So one could have the big one for more power and control and have the smaller one for getting in tighter spots and do more delicate work. No brainer

Make some spread sheets on you finding’s and make a detailed video on why people over pay for a color. Make a video on what it takes to destroy a particular tool vs another. It most definitely is. The only reason you think the DeWalt is stronger is the Ridgid saw will shutdown if the blade begins to bind. Which if you've ever had a cutoff disc fail in the middle of a cut you will appreciate. At 19500 rpm the shrapnel would cause a good bit of damage. DeWalt doesn't put any thought into safety and let's you go balls out. Twist that disc during a cut and watch it explode if you want. But if you can cut a strait line you'll have no problem with the Ridgid. Hell I've cut a 2 1/2" hole in porcelain tile with that Ridgid 3" saw many times as well.
