Curious why you would like this over a Gorlitz GO 380 or GO 50 ???

That’s the only thing that k 60 machine is good for, to clear a main line through the roof. Customer definitely needs a clean out installed as well as a hydro jetter to fully clean that line to remove sludge build up.

I just purchased the k60sp, and after using it for about two hours, I noticed the torque when the handle is all the way pressed down, is almost zero. I can stop the turning with two fingers. What is the problem?

The very next video I watched talked about…”thermal load reset” or something like that. Check it out maybe you tripped something and don’t know it. There is a small black screw that you can take out and the reset is under that. Look for the vid. Please let me know if that helps, I want to buy this machine.

Your clutch is lose. Losen the adjuster screw and turn the clutch adjuster till it fully engages and then tighten it back up. You can go from 5/8 to 7/8 with this machine so you can adjust it on the fly.

Im not sure why some plumbers go through the roof vent. I’ve never cleared a plugged drain through a roof vent ever in my 20 years of plumbing.

We take our 3/8 jetter through roof vents all the time. Not everybody has a clean out and sometimes the line is full and will get all over the bathroom if we pull the toilet. Easier and less mess to go through the vent.

@@jpollard1984 But you also run the risk of flooding the house by adding more water to the line. Ive pumped bath tubs out before, then pulled the toilet to get lines clear. Really the only safe way to do it besides install outside cleanout.

Bill bixby. The vent on the roof is definitely the best way to unplug a drain especially if there are no clean outs.

Mostly done in Southern states no cleanout or basement
