I bought this fan and was disappointed.

Counting the hooks twice is more than a stretch. It's the same crap as service centers counting checking the oil filter and drain plug on their "21 point inspection" when you bring a vehicle in for an oil change. Sure, it's there, but you're counting something twice just to make it sound like it's a better value

I really enjoyed my rigid impact driver and hammer drill. It was the circular saw that ruined it. With a fully charged 4 ah battery (same ones I used in the other tools and worked fine) this terrible saw couldn't cut 1/2" mdf 🤷🤷🤷 Swapped over to Ryobi hp tools and it's amazing how they differ. Ryobi fits the hand better, the impact driver and drill are missing a little power that the rigid have, but the circular saw is an absolute dream. Slapped on one of them Diablo blades and holy moly what a machine. Had rigid built a saw that can cut 1/2" mdf, I'd probably be using their stuff still. 1/2" mdf 🤷🤷🤷 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 so glad it failed and I bought my mean green machines.

@@IMPACT-NATION yeah I'm not sure they make a subcompact hammer drill which I would probably lean towards the full size hammer drill like you got so it's very possible that I may end up with the larger impact driver as well. the one in the subcompact kit doesn't have any mode settings but the variable trigger is extremely variable like you can get that thing to the slowest creep imaginable so once you get used to the trigger you're in full control and it hasn't failed in doing anything I even put a 6 in lag bolt through a 4x4 with it without any issue. I recently refurbished an old Black & Decker Firestorm table saw and there were some bolts in the miter gauge that had rust welded into the thing so bad I couldn't get them out for nothing the full size brushed Craftsman 20 volt drill I had couldn't get them nor could the older Ryobi 18 volt drill that belong to my dad. After I bought the Ridgid kit I went at those bolts with that subcompact impact driver and it busted them right out. Literally the thing has managed to help me finish jobs that I couldn't get done with the weaker tools I had. Ridgid's tools feel like high quality tools the materials that they're made out of they don't feel like cheap plastic tools. somebody gave me a drill Master drill yesterday that still uses nicad batteries and the plastic housing on this thing just once you put your hand on it if you've ever had your hand on a quality power tool immediately this thing feels like garbage. I would probably not have gotten into the ridgid line when they were still on the octane because I don't think the quality of tool was what it is today. Thank you Ridgid for stepping up the game.

I love your channel. Honestly I think I started out watching vcg construction first and one of your videos became a recommended watch by KZfaq's algorithm but I can honestly say today that I very much prefer the way you do your videos for a lot of reasons most of them because it's your personality shining through to your viewers. Keep making the videos I'm going to keep watching and respecting your opinions especially when it comes to my decisions to purchase products.

I'm editing this because I realized now that I didn't actually come and vocalize the conclusion of the point I was trying to make. I guess subconsciously I figured I had led anyone reading the comments to the conclusion and just assumed they would come to my point themselves but in the interest of not assuming that everybody can read the same and come to the same conclusion my point was you got to stay loyal to your heart which was to do honest tool review videos for a fan base and people in the consuming market so being loyal to them is being loyal to your heart you got to do the honest tool reviews and whatever Vince feels is his feeling and seen as how he's not one of your fans that you're being loyal to and I'm not saying you're not loyalty him as a friend if given the opportunity I'm just saying at this point you got to put Vince in the background and just keep doing your reviews man I love them I think you got a really good personality you make the videos enjoyable to watch I get a laugh out of them I mean if I wanted to just watch a standardized mechanical in expression of emotion review of something I could just read a manual or maybe somewhere they've got robots like droids doing reviews where can I find that at cuz I don't like feeling nothing when I'm watching something about tools inspirations no fun

@@fourbyfourblazer2 actually I really didn't I'm actually a subscriber to VCG construction as well. As a matter of fact currently at the moment of responding to this response I'm watching a VCG video on new work wear made by a company called Snickers. so I very much know that there is a jokingly bantering thing going on between the two you focused on the wrong part of my post thinking that it had anything to do with Vince at BGC construction at all I was talking to tool reviews on answering a question genuinely that was really more of a show of my appreciation to him for what he does.

@@fourbyfourblazer2 I'll also add that I did before seeing any of the video today watch vcg's video on the rigid fan and very much felt a lot of sour attitude in Vince about the mounting points. You could see the distaste in his attitude for rigid and he was him not being able to find the mounting points as a way to display that distaste and he was wrong. Distaste for a product line from a tool review person needs to either be factual information like the mounting points didn't exist as a fact they didn't exist or as an opinion at best obviously these people are allowed to have their opinions on how they feel about a certain aspect of the tool but to show distaste in a brand because that's what it was based on information or opinion that was wrong because yes an opinion can be wrong if it was his opinion that there were not 10 mounting points but I guess that's not necessarily an opinion it's just an ignorance thing and I mean ignorance to how to see the mounting points I'm not calling Vince ignorant but in that situation he was ignorant.
