I called an old lady who lives in a largely Hispanic neighborhood and insisted that she sell me her home for me and my extended family to move into. Her nephew sent me this prank request and said she isn't very fond of the Hispanic people taking over the neighborhood and refuses to sell her home. I called as Juan of course lol. Lol its hilarious....but as a former telemarketer.....you would be AMAZED at how people will NOT hang up on you. IF you get someone to answer the phone and admit its them.....the chances of them hanging up on you is about 1 in 50. For some ODD reason....people just cant say a direct NO....and they cant hang up on you. Its some kind of strange force field lol.....I used to find it hilarious. But thankfully that was just to make ends meet back in my college days....it was fun....but your certainly not making other peoples lives easier. It is funny thought that people think its more rude to hang up on you than scold you and be gruff.....but its the way it is!

@Ken Wilhelm Musk Well part of it is the fact that IF they admit who are by name and we rattle back at them their address they realize we know who they are and where they live. So at that point they feel on the "hook". But someone saying "no" to any type of solicitation is VERY hard for most people.

@Ken Wilhelm Musk lol you might get a kick out of my videos "Haggling 101 Yardsale Strategies" and "Brad C's Phone Skills 101". I teach some tricks that can help both sides. One thing I learned telemarketing....if you can get them to laugh...its a done deal. One time I was calling on behalf the local police organization and the lady was trying to rush me off the phone and said "Hurry up! I'm right in the middle of Seinfield". I quickly said "No decal for you!".....she rolled and pulled out a credit card and got the gold package. Not to brag but I was caller or the week and month every week and month. Averaged over 200 dollars an hour in donations. I could tell by the sound of their voice and the culture just how to push or pull or beg or whatever it took to get that $$$. I'm highly competitive and never wanted to miss a sale. As a telemarketer your rewarded by getting breaks and having others do your calls....but I was so worried about my numbers I didn't take the breaks. I miss it to be honest....but those days are long gone.

At my salary, which is well above the American average, it takes me 13+ years to earn 2 million. I don't know what would you live in where 2.0 million is not much, but please, get out of your fantasy land. A house that I own in Brooklyn, NY is worth $600,000. New York City real estate prices are about as high as they get. Two million dollars is 333% of the price out of my house. I know apartments on sale in the neighborhood I live in (Financial District) that sell for $1.5 million. If you think that 2 million is nothing, then you are due for a reality check when you grow up and start earning your own money.

There is a thing that you are doing wrong from the spanish(latino) accent, we would never pronounce "The" as "Ze", that is how some Europeans do(Russians), we just say The/De. Now, since we dont have the "Th" sound in "Thanks" we say "Sanks" or "Tanks"(depending on the person). So I understand your confusion, but you need to realize the difference when pronouncing each word.
