My Grandfather was apart of the D-Day landing. He told me once when I was a kid about it. I asked him if he was scared his response was “sometimes in life you will find yourself in scary situations, but all you can do is push on, trust in your training, and push that fear behind you son” I didn’t know what he was talking about until I got older

Cause if I was on D-Day I would want the m7 assault gas mask bag, a bag over my rifle too, but if I was in Battle of the buldge, I would get the M4 lightweight gas mask bag. Or my helmet net, decals, my uniform, like on D-Day with my unit, we have M41 field jackets, but the others could’ve had HBTs. Later in the war some units went with the M43, but the 1st infantry division 16th Infantry Regiment Dog company chose to stick with the M41 the whole war, while the airborne in D-Day chose the M42, but then went to the M43. ETC ETC You get it

I don't reenact so I can't give you any more help but from watching and my own collection of GWOT stuff I know ebay is usually not a bad place
