This is awesome. You could never build this elevator today, considering it's made of wood and you have to step into the shaft to push the button.

I remember my mother used to have an old red car that had the spare tire on a holder on the trunk door and it was an absolute elephant and it would never have made it through the door on the bottom floor

The only downside to it is because its such an old elevator it doesnt know where it is in the shaft the logic does everything blind
