KTM continues to develop two-strokes and for 2023 they have revamped their complete pre-mixed lineup. The 2023 KTM 125/250/300 are all fuel injected/electronic power valve driven with an all-new chassis. Not to mention there are two engine maps to switch from, just like the four-stroke lineup. Keefer only got a few laps on each of these new two strokes and in this video, he will talk about how each felt and what it's like to ride compared to the 2022 models.

I think we are now living a real technical revolution. This way two stroke is as ecologic as a four stroke. It pulls even harder than a 4 strokes and still is a light bike. It could be interesting to see two strokes against four strokes with top pro riders riding them. Cheers 👍

It is forced by the EPA, like the 4-stroke, and costs too much money to buy for 9 out of 10 who used to be able to afford a bike. It happens in any industry where government tells us what to make and buy. It gets expensive and dysfunctional. Do you ride,---or just watch?

By sound of everyone the 300 is were its at. I give KTM a lot of shit but I commend them for still innovating and developing 2 strokes.

I checked KTM's website and their specs have the weight of the 125 SX at 92.4 kg or 203.7 lb. The older models were 192 lb.

@@motox2051 with that weight it adds up but makes the 2 strokes more reliable and accessible just like a 4 stroke. Its still going to be as light. Since the power is inconsistent or in 1 power map setting the back tire will just lift so its also an improvement that the 2 stroke is a little more planted so it has stability and control.

Look up vital mx’s first impressions. He talks about them both. He said the 350 sxf had more power and I’m like not a chance. Their saying the new 300 is 57hp. My 2020 450sxf came with 58hp. With TD mapping and other upgrades I’m probably around 64 or so now. So if it’s less than the 350 then let the 300 in the 450 class. That’s a conversation I’m sure they don’t wanna have tho

@@redline4124 exactly and the 300SX produces much more peak torque. Other testers have said that the 300 felt as fast if not slightly faster than the 450.

Me too , till I found out I will ultimately have to spend 2000.00 more to put KYB internals in that thing ..F that ,12k ,and 2 more for yz 250 suspension lmao,forget AEO also...get a 290cc Eric gorr motor b done wthe efi dream And cubic dollar parts

It's awesome to see KTM come out with some new technology! But the 2022 ktm125sx recalls and the rumors of their crankshafts being garbage sure don't help them

Wasn't the crankshafts, it was the ecu equivalent on the 2 stroke(can't remember what there called) my brothers 150 went with a couple hours on it

Team Green only Focuses on 4 strokes now and race bikes, KTM and Husqvarna broadens and expands the types of riding and riders with a bunch of lineups of their models. I'm considing getting a 300 2 stroke now

When you rent a track for a specific amount of time, with 6 test bikes and what looked like dozens of test riders. You probably have to limit the amount of laps to give everyone time to ride each bike.
