I make videos about all things horsey such as Vlogs with the ponies, horse care videos and edits of me riding to help other equestrians learn more about these beautiful animals as you never stop learning with horses. :)

This Esme Hello Esme I’m starting horse riding lessons next weekend. Jesus I’m alright at riding a horse but I nearly got kicked by one and almost fell off him it was horrible start with horses but my horse will get used to me whole I’m there.

Woah the difference between western riders and English riders is amazing, I don’t know how you stay so organized all the time. I’m a barrel racer and rodeo queen, and I’m always rushed so everything is thrown everywhere haha :)

You're my idol! I'm getting a horse soon I'm not a GREAT rider I'm kinda a beginner.So can u suggest any tips or breeds of horses I can get? EDIT:ty all SO SO much I am ready because my trainer has told me that I am ready but ty all so much! I think a 9-year-old horse is the best for me because most of you say that's a great age for a horse ty all so much! all of you have great experience and I hope you all achieve your goals in life!

Artemis and the Gymnasts top tip: horse owning isn't as easy as lessons, and if you consider yourself a beginner maybe you should stick to lessons or get a loan/share to get more experience before jumping into ownership

Artemis and the Gymnasts Omg, I was in the same situation as you! I have a bay 15hh quarterhorse. I thought he would be really calm but turns out, he's the opposite😂. However, he is teaching me so much and I love him to the moon and back! As for breeds I suggest, depends on the discipline and how the horse moves. For example, most quarter horses don't do dressage because of their short muscles, but mine moves like a warmblood. Only thing I don't reccomend would be a huge draft horse, I love tall horses but not as a first horse, they have a TON of power that you and I are not ready for. Also, I'd say get a horse that's not too young and not too old, for example my horse is 9. I hope this helps! Have fun with your new horse!

Artemis and the Gymnasts definitely get a QH, they are a great first horse and can do anything with a calm demeanor.
