Hey KC - love your vids! Here's sime helpful winching advice: Instead of trying to cram both ends of the strap into the winch hook, either 1) Carry a D ring and put the ends of the strap on the D ring and then hook the hook on the ring, or 2) Run 1 end of the strap through the other loop, pull the strap tight around the tree, and then you only have to put 1 loop through the winch hook. Happy trails!

My sister and I rode down 95 about 3 weeks before you were there. We both ride older Hondas without fuel injection and it gots so steep further down that we had to coast down with no power. The second to last downhill section i had to sit sideways and push off of the bank because it is so steep downhill but also rutted out on one side. Took us almost 2 hours to get off of that trail because i had to drive mine down and then climb up and drive hers in 3 or 4 different sections.

Hi, Jacob Wow! Sounds like you guys had quite the adventure finishing that trail! I couldn’t imagine going any further than we did. That kind of stuff is fun but kind of scary ! Thanks for checking out the video appreciate comment as well!

Enjoyed the video as always but I'd be with Cat man and Grizzly. You can have that black diamond stuff. There's a reason I'm old!

My brother and I ran into this hill in 2013 on Honda 700 quads. It was wet and muddy. He tried to make it to the top, but couldn't, and there was a quad stuck about 3/4 up that needed help getting back down. We turned around.
@kcatv95562 жыл бұрын
Yeah I hear you bud. The camera doesn’t do that trail justice it’s definitely steep. Thanks for checking out the video!
@FrethKindheart2 жыл бұрын
@@kcatv9556 I know. You don't realize how steep it is until you're looking up from the bottom, or standing halfway up looking both directions. Take care.

Really enjoy your videos! I'm sure you have been asked this before, but what communication radio do you use/recommend? Thanks!
@kcatv95565 жыл бұрын
Rick Chuska .. We are using sena 10s units from Sena. They are Bluetooth motorcycle communicators. They seem to do a really good job. Don’t have any experience with other brands so not sure about a different recommendation. Glad you enjoy the videos we do appreciate you watching and commenting!!

WTH ! at 2:43 you drove right by 2 crapers and you didn't do the Q crapper review. Oh shit! Watching you guys turn around that machine on the hill looked like a bad idea. Thankfully it worked out. Got to give you a 10 for effort just for trying that steep hill. I've always heard about this part of the hatfield trail and didn't realize how bad it really is. Thanks for sharing the experience. Definitely need to watch out for this section if we ever get out there.
@kcatv95565 жыл бұрын
Hey Frankie. I know it! what was I thinking two crapper‘s and no Q crapper review! Disappointing I know. LOL Yeah the turnaround on the hill was a bad idea, but it seem like our only option. Yeah that was definitely a steep hill! Hopefully you can’t get the boys talked into heading there for a trip someday, We definitely had a blast! Thanks for tuning in and checking out the video buddy ! Appreciate it!

I find the helmet-mounted Go Pros are annoying, as they make me dizzy. Can you place the camera on the ATV for part of the video?
@kcatv95565 жыл бұрын
Frank Dawe .. To be honest with you we used to have that camera mounted somewhere on the ATV. But it seems with it mounted on the helmet you get more of what the rider sees . Sorry it makes you dizzy will try to hold our head more still in the future. Thanks for checking out the vid much appreciated!

WOW, that waterfall spot was nice! For a second there I thought your creative film making was about to get a little edgy when Ms.K started walking toward the the falls. I started covering my eyes, but then realized Ms.K would never be that type of lady to participate in a slow-mo wet t-shirt scene for the sole purpose of capturing a click-bait thumbnail for the KC ATV Channel . . . right? - LOL HEY! Don't get that paper GPS unit wet! HAHAHA!!! Too funny! Ya, Q would be too short to get up in there too - LOL ( 4:30 ish) That thing had some pretty thick walls. Maybe it was a bomb shelter? I'm really disappointed you didn't listen to your creative director and get some footage from up on top of that thing of ya'll zoomin' by on the trail. That would have been a great shot! That was one heck of a steep grade on 95! YIKES! Koodos for going as far as you did! Awesome video KC! Those were some great trails! Oh, and for the record, I'm OK with the fact you didn't do a Q-crapper review. Those blue plastic crappers all look the same inside - LOL
@kcatv95565 жыл бұрын
Hey! Buddy! Wow talk about creative mind, Tell you the truth I’mma likin where it’s a going! Told the wife she can enter into the wet T-shirt contest at the bike show when it comes to town, Do they still do that? That would be some Click-bait! You still making fun of my paper GPS unit, I’m sure you used to do some traveling with a road atlas? Come on now admit it LOL ! Bomb shelter? I don’t know but it sure the hell was built strong enough for one though. Yeah buddy when you can tell how steep it is with a go pro that sucker was definitely steep! OK I guess those plastic crappers are not worthy of a Q crapper review! Thanks for watching appreciate the awesome comment buddy!

Truth be known KC, I'm a map junkie! - LOL - I love maps, both paper and electronic. We use to do these week long 200 km canoe portage trips way up in northern Saskatchewan with only paper topo maps & a compass to guide us. There's no roads or signs of man for days, so you're basically guessing that you're in the right spot based on how the map looks - LOL At times, we'd get outside the area we had maps for and navigated by compass alone. It was a hoot and man were we in good shape by the end of the week! HAHAHA!!! Check out "Wadin Bay, SK" on Google Maps and then keep going north toward Otter Lake,SK then SE to Nistoiak Falls, SK then SW to Kenderdine Island, SK then west back to Wadin Bay, SK. This is just one of the trips we did. They were amazing journeys!

Wow that sounds like it would’ve been a blast! Would like to do something like that, maybe when I was younger I would be winded right off the bat now. LOL If I get some time later today I’ll get on Google maps and check it out.
@kcatv95565 жыл бұрын
Checked that out last night when I got home. Wow! that would’ve been quite the adventure! Love how there are so many lakes in that area! Google maps had a couple of pictures of one of those lakes. So beautiful nestled in the trees like that!
