In terms of safety I have several jacket for varying seasons. I have always had a full face helmet, gloves, and boots. I encourage the same thing but each rider is empowered to make their own choice.

Wanted to join this conversation but wasn’t able to. Glad to shared it. In my MSF class they told us new people should ride in the middle so they can learn from the ones in front and the ones in the back can make sure they don’t gel left behind and also see how they ride and give them pointers

Yup! It will all work once everyone else in agreement. New riders I. The middle can cause major split ups if the front choose to go faster. It’s all based on the group. 👍🏽

This comment is for Mayor! You have to stay hydrated my man and take frequent breaks. I even start hydrating the day before if I know I am going to be out on 2's. I ride sport bikes at the current moment and live in Central Texas. I wear a full perforated leather jacket, full face helmet race helmet, jeans, and race gloves and boots no matter how hot it is. Also I wear dry-fit or hot weather under garments. I do not wear cotton. I dress for the slide not the ride. Mike also had some great points as well as others..

I learned to ride my motorcycle in Florida before I moved to Georgia and that heat does not play but here is my hack. I always carry a bottle of water and I pour it all over my body with my clothes on and keep riding. Instant Air Conditioning.
