Beautiful! You would really enjoy riding from I-5 to highway 101 on Royte 36! In California.

They had Cottonwood pass shut down for a couple years to repave. When they opened it summers end 2019 , I was able to ride it. Even though its paved now, its a super fun , twisty beautiful road! Love following y'alls adventures!!! Have fun, from a 690 owner too!

I do kind of regret not taking my sport bike over Cottonwood. What a great tide. But, living in Colorado Springs, its a couple hour hike to get to it. I've got a 701 now and absolutely love it

Awesome video. Great scenery. Curious about the sound set up you are using. When I try to record while riding the 690 the wind noise is just overwhelming. Curious how you overcame that?

Love your videos! I stated to watch the epic family road trip a few years ago. It's cool to see a different perspective each week between you guys on the bikes and then the jeeps. I was wondering if you could do a video explaining how you control your blood sugars while ridding.(if you feel comfortable talking about it) Keep up the awesome videos!
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
For sure! I plan on talking about how I manage T1D on the bikes in upcoming videos. I believe I mentioned a little about it in this video ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/op57jNdpz7W0omg.html ). Since traveling on the bikes is still pretty new I will be learning a lot by trail and error and will always update how I do it periodically in videos. Thanks for watching!

You might want to start with smaller logs.

Out of curiosity, if you have the jeeps with you why are you carrying luggage?
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
We need the extra space because the Jeep’s are already overloaded with gear for a family of 5 adults and a dog. We are also full time, so we can’t just pack for a week or weekend. We have to carry everything we need for 12 months a year and four seasons. 🤙🏻

Any technology options for you guys to see where the Jeeps are when viewing your digital maps. Maybe get give you more options to explore away from the convoy, and give them comfort they can intersect in case of breakdown. 🤔
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
We are looking at a few different options, the Garmin Tread system seems promising to us. With the Tread we could communicate via Muers/VHF. (At least it sounds like we could) This is something we may be testing in the near future.

Adventure Guys, Hi, do you have any bar risers may I ask and if so how high. I have a 2021 just like yours and am wondering how high you can raise them without replacing the brake to ABS unit line and clutch line?
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
Peter has changed his handle bars to the Evo pro taper bars and that came with a riser. I am still using the stock handle bars because I like how straight the are but they are definitely a bit low. I can feel it when I’m standing and being 6ft 1 it puts me in a weird position. I definitely need a riser but I haven’t researched it much. If you find something that works I would love to hear it! Sorry if that didn’t really answer your question lol. - Dan
@RonnieMX2 жыл бұрын
If I may ask you a question when you fitted the pro taper Evo adventure handlebars did you have a problem with cable length? Were you able to bolt them right up or did you have to buy custom cables. Thank you and that was a great video!
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
No cable mods needed, just adjusted my Cycra’s so the cables weren’t rubbing. Thanks for watching!

Why carry all that weight when you can just pack what you need? I have the same bike and I’ll do an all day ride with a backpack and a water bottle. Especially with two Jeep’s following you, unload some gear and have some fun. I like your channel, I’m not trying to be a hater, it’s just overkill seeing all this gear when you’re on very mild trails with two follow vehicles.

I have watched a few of your videos and noticed u guys ride a lot in the standing position on the foot pegs. Seems like a an unusual position do as much as u 2 do, is there something wrong with the bikes suspension ?
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
It’s mainly because we are riding most of the day for weeks at a time so your bottom end gets kind of raw. But we sit a lot more then what is shown in the videos because most of the more interesting stuff happens when the terrain is rougher. -Dan
