Travel on the City Circle Tram is free, so hop on and off as often as you like. Tourists, shoppers, office workers and families can use the City Circle Tram for travel to major attractions, shops and city events.
Tourists can spend all day on a City Circle Tram. Information leaflets, map of the city are available on board each tram.
To catch the City Circle Tram service (route number 35), simply board the tram at any of the specially marked stops on the route. You don't need for Myki (ticket) if you're only travelling in the city's Free Tram Zone or on the City Circle Tram.

Thanks for this video! I have lived in Melbourne CBD for many years; it's a wonderful city to live in. This tram went right past my building. For anyone wanting to visit Melbourne city, ALL the city trams are free, not only this tourist tram :)

Thanks for stopping by master_hornet 😊. It stops in designated location/tram stops and the best thing is free and unlimited rides you can hop on and off anytime 😀

Hello! Does tram no.35 loop only within the free tram zone city area so I don't have to worry about travelling out of the zone and have to pay? Thanks for this great video!

To the shame of the operating company, the historic W Class tramcars have NOT been operating the Route 35 service on a regular basis for some months! The excuse used is not enough drivers! Many people suspect that this is simply a convenient excuse to breach their operating contract!
