I was originally not going to post this video do to several factors, but I decided to edit it and post it anyways. Sorry, no 360 video on this one as I accidentally recorded it all in "Timelapse" which made it unusable for the most part. This group ride consisted of several ebike groups joining for a massive ride out! I was able to meet up with several riders that I have not seen in a long time. This was unfortunately John Angel's last hosted group ride. Enjoy the ride!

Just curious, the whole ride was on one battery charge ? I’m waiting on my CTY2 bike and will be using it for work. And would like to know if I can hold off on buying the lithium battery.

Hi Zinai! Yes this was with the stock battery and I did not charge on the ride. I think it will depend on the miles and how hard you are planning on riding. I think the stock battery should be fine for most people. Only if you plan or riding really far and not have range anxiety you should be able to hold off.

Any rain or water exposure yet?? Wondering how water resistant or proof is that inside that that battery and door at a down angle like that.

Hey Mr. Quien! Fortunately I have not been caught out in rain and I actually try not to ride when rain is in the forecast. There is definitely some spots where water can get under the battery cover if it was raining hard. If it was light, I don’t think it would be an issue. But I am sure there are some ways to weather proof it better, I just try to avoid rain 😆

@@ErockRodz Thanks for replying lol. Like seriously 🙌 lol. I live in Fl and I noticed the group rides down here are rain or shine type. I don't wanna get the bike a poncho lol. And w the battery sitting up like that, I know that housing will just turn into a cup. Are all the wires on top or behind? If you place it in a bag, will anything in there take damage??

I tend to stay away from group rides. There are always some bad Apples in the bunch that do stupid shit on the rides. I just ride with one or two of my buddies.

Yeah I hear you. There will always be people like that, but there are also a lot of awesome people that you can meet on group rides! But I agree, its cool to just ride with a couple people on small rides as well.
