He is a registered Friesian Heritage Horse who stands 15.1hh and he's sweet as pie. In this video you will get to see our Bridleless training session. 💕 Jafar really has a handsome head, proportionate to his 15 hh. My first time seeing a Friesian jump. Great dressage saddle and Lisa's brilliant pad is perfect for Jafar. TY for all the work you put into these amazing vlogs.

Frisians normally have a high head carriage it seems, looks regal. What a gorgeous face he has. His canter is dreamy. The beautiful pink neck rope and pad add to the fairy tale look you both have together. How fun!! I love the bridleless riding. Thanks for bringing us along.

Wow, he's so amazing! I've watched from the beginning when you got him at the auction and he's come so far. It looked perfect to me but I don't notice those things because I haven't been around horses. You both make such a perfect pair and yes Jafar is not only beautiful, he's GORGEOUS!!!! and a silly boy with the twine.

Amazing! Jafar is great! I wish I knew about bridleless riding when I had my horse. I bet my horse would have loved it! You are also such a great rider especially riding no hands.

Yes, every horse has one side better than the other when You're turning left or right. The confidence is most important from the horse and also from the rider. The pink is so nice on the black. He has a better character than the Disney jafar. 🤣

Shea, I have been around lots of horses and have seen a variety of horses. It amazes me that all your horses are so well behaved and respect you. Do you have a video on what you do to get this connection with your horses? Do you have a training program for your horses? A schedule for them? Would love to know! Thanks! ❤

Thank you that’s so very kind. The key is consistency. I work with my horses everyday in some way. Of course we have a training program. However, there is nothing set in stone. It’s all about being consistent but not complacent. I spend time with each horse daily either feeding, grooming, doing groundwork, playing, riding or just hanging out. I make sure that I don’t just show up and “Train”. I’m a part of their everyday life and care. I think that strengthens the bond and makes a difference. As far as actual “work” and training goes, each horse is worked with 3-5x per week with actual training sessions. You can’t do a video on connection because it’s simply there or it isn’t, you have it or you don’t….it’s not a do this you’ll achieve that. It’s a gift in some sense. ❤️

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find people who actually love their animals among this sea of people who are so image obsessed or have all of these gimmicky, terrible training methods. A lot of people forget the fundamental meaning of having a companion-animal: true companionship. You embody that so clearly.

I have a Moriesian Mare. She is the most willing equine partner I have ever had and I have had some really good horses. I love Friesians and their crosses.

❣💯 You gave him the "seat cue" for left canter, etc., so how exactly does that work with your legs and directional leaning? Love how you're "using your energy and confidence to guide him." Jafar is so responsive to your bridle-less right canter.
