Agent Nesty at your service! It's time for a travel vlog and little adventures. Today I am going to travel on a double decker Russian train to the Krasnodar city. Let's find out what the train looks like inside on the first and second floors. Is this train really so comfortable and cozy?

That is a massive train. It's rare to see double deckers that big in Europe, perhaps because our train tracks are more narrow.

I did Moscow to Rostov-on-Don 20 years ago in summer on an old Soviet train. It was very slow and hot and I spoke only a few words of Russian. There were 3 other people in my compartment and I didn’t get much sleep. The restaurant car was very pleasant with air conditioning and good food. The seats were fabric and not vinyl, and the tables were polished wood, lace curtains on the windows and lots of pot plants.

Luckily, we have the 1st floor cabin 👍 and will be taking our own food looking at those prices 😮😅. If any children follow me, I will tell them that I am James Bond and on a secret mission. Double decker long distance train is interesting and it looks very high from the external view at the start of your video. I found it interesting that the drinks list had other languages in addition to Russian. There must be foreigners regularly travelling on this service. In Australia, Sydney has had double decker suburban commuter trains for decades. Melbourne also experimented with a few carriages however they were a failure and scrapped.

Great fun as always Nesty, thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I've been telling myself for most of the week that next time you post a video I wanted to throw an idea at you. Of course Not actually throw, just s figure of speech. I was watching this really interesting video series by someone called " debunking Soviet myths". It was fascinating and I thought it might be a great idea if someone did one on modern Russia?. Winston Churchill once famously said , "Russia is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma". A more recent phrase is " Russia is a gas station with nuclear bombs". I suspect here in Europe or the west in general we have allot of myths and misconceptions about Russia today. You know the ones where we think everyone drinks 3 gallons of vodka a day & they invade other countries so they can steal washing machines, toilets and raccoons 😅. You don't have to be overtly political, but with your wicked sense of humour, you'd be the perfect person to help explain modern Russia to your mostly western audience. You're living proof that Russia does not quite fit into the box we've been trying to put it in. It's just a thought & suggestion Nesty for future video ideas. Make of it what you will, but I'm sure if you run with the idea it'll be educational and hilarious. Big hugs 🤗 from one of your biggest fans. xx
@sapatsuppa
@sapatsuppa 7 ай бұрын
You probably wanted to offend the Russians. Russians drink at least 4 gallons of vodka and that's just before lunch. In fact, we Russians are not against stereotypes about us, because they scare our enemies and amuse us.
@max.fleming1045
@max.fleming1045 7 ай бұрын
@@sapatsuppa I suspect you're the one offending Russians?. Having said that you make a point of another & seemingly real stereotype many have of Russia. Why are Russians so bloody paranoid seeing everyone around them as enemies?. That's such an archaic almost medieval world view & completely out of touch with a 21st century world view. I regularly watch the KZfaq channel 1420 and it never ceases to amaze me how many Russians are convinced the world is out to steal all her natural resources?. WTF, until 18 months ago we were perfectly happy to buy them and virtually no country anywhere in the world viewed Russia as an enemy. Russia really needs a good therapist or maybe just put down the vodka, chill the f*#k out and smoke and spliff instead. 😉
@_Epsilon_
@_Epsilon_ 6 ай бұрын
_A more recent phrase is " Russia is a gas station with nuclear bombs"_ To debunk this I guess one needs to dive into economy area. Workd Bank has put Russia at 5th place in terms of GDP PPP surpassing Germany so Russian economy is at least 5th largest in the world and you can't be that on just oil and gas alone so something else is out there. There are places that show what enterprises and factories getting opened, what projects getting launched etc Look for 'Время-вперёд! ' and sdelanounas.

Seems like everyone wants to be in your video, even before you get on the train (Get out of the way)! 😂😂 So sorry you did not get any sleep, those walls are so thin! Found it interesting that there was no alcohol allowed on the train (It may have eased the pain from your harassment). I'm guessing it is forbidden in the dining car as well? I'm glad mom remembered to put on her thinking cap for you to save your food from spoiling! Looks like you need some rest. Looks like taking another train ride will not help (Get some ear plugs next time)! 👍👍👍👍 Forgot to ask: That is a lot of suitcases for 2 days. Hope that means there is more to this trip.
