Riding the 1967 Yamaha YL2

2 жыл бұрынIn 1967 Yamaha came out with the YL2, a single cylinder 100cc 2 stroke. Also referred to as the Rotary Jet 100. The trail version (YL2C) was much more common then this low pipe street version.

Looks very similar in many ways to the 50 cc Fs 1 I once (starting mid '75) owned and rode - with great pleasure - several years, untill I started riding 500 cc motorbikes and heavier. By the way, I ride a Kawasaki ZRX 1100 now, which is a completely different 'animal', but also very exiting pleasure. It all started with my above-mentioned 'moped' and I'll never forget that!

My dad had one just like it way back when. I got my first ticket riding it after school when I was 12. Wish I had one now
