For those of you who are unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of the block zone is a method to stop the train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.

idk what im doing but im a Alton towers fan so im going to rate my experience on the rides Tommy went on!! Blade: LOVE!! so fun and it made my stomach drop, i tripped up when I get off and nearly dropped my phone down the crack which was so embarrassing! But I like it alotttt Congo river rapids: first time i went in this was when I was 4 and omg best water ride everrrr, i love it so much and ride it every visit ofc!! And I love it when the run away mine train comes through! Defo a 10/10 , especially when the waterfall are on (they got turned on this season!) Oblivion: The climb is scaring asf and when they hang you over I CANTTT i scream so loud but it’s so fun when you go through the tunnel! one of my fav rides and defo in top 5! Spin ball wizzer: iloveit!! It reminds me of dragon fury at Chessington but better! I’ve only been on it a few times but I love it and would go on more often if I had more time ( smiler, oblivion , etc queues where shorter!) Smiler: My favourite roller coaster in the fucking world! i love it so much and it’s my highlight of the day, i justtt wish the queues where shorter sometimes but anyways i love the drops and inversions and all the loops, the climbs are terrifying! 1000000/10! (I’ve never been on any of these rides) Have a good day!❤

i was there that day i came across them so many times i didn't say anything but i knew it was them i walked passed them in the main entrance i was in the same line for the river rapids and when i was entering x-sector i was walking a few people behind them the funniest thing i witnessed when seeing them was seeing Phil and tommy dropping on oblivion me and my family were standing at the bottom waiting for my auntie and dad!! i would've said hi but i didn't want to bother them and i don't have any social confidence 🤣 i didn't see them any time after but being able to just see them multiple times was comforting love you guys!!! ❤
