Die Montesa ist toll aber wieder sehr aufwendig in der Wartung (kompletten Gehäusedeckel demontieren für Ölfilterwechsel) und wenn man auch mal auf die Crosstrecke geht etwas knapp mit Federweg,die 300 Rally wäre mir zu schwer um sie auch aus "verfahrenen Situationen oder Hang abwärts umgefallen wieder auf zu richten.Ich versuche es jetzt mal mit einer CRF230F.

super balade , tout a fait la façon dont je roule , soit avec ma Trainer soit avec ma Gas trial 300 mais 2 T !

I've got a WR450F which is great for laning but not when you want to learn slow technical skills so I'm looking for a smaller 2nd bike. It's between a 125 pitbike and the 4ride. The 4ride is 4 times the price but double the cc and a Honda 🤔 Not to mention electric start adds £1500 to the price. Also this has absolutely nothing to do with me breaking my foot last week when the 450 landed on it 😅

Great video and looks like lots of fun! We don’t get the 4Ride in the US, so curious what bike would be your next choice? You have ridden with many! Trials bike or something like the XTrainer? Thanks for the footage!

Thank you for your comment! The X-Trainer is much more enduro orientated and stiffer than the 4ride. Maybe the Beta Alp 200 comes near to the Montesa. A little less power and harder suspension, but very climby.

Very fun to watch! Like to be out there riding. We have talked before and unfortunately the 4Ride is not imported to the USA. I love the bike as it has such nice trail manners. Capable for all sorts of trails and worse, light and nimble like a trials bike, but love having the seat and what I expect to be slightly wider gearing. What bike comes close to this riding style and has a low seat height? The KTM’ and Husky’s are just too big, the Honda 300 is too soft. Is the Beta 200 or 300 X-Trainer the ticket for technical single track? Keep the films rolling!

The X Trainer is much bigger than the 4ride. Maybe the Alp 200 is near by.

I fancy both of these bikes , can’t decide which will be best , at 60 yrs old and a short arse I think maybe the montesa may be the way

Thank you! Im changing motoroil (0,41l) after 10h and gearoil (0,54l) after 20h. Oilfilter after 40h. Changing the air filter depends on the conditions. If it is dusty, it gets dirty very quickly. The Montesa seems very durable to me. I have 83 hours on the motorcycle and so far no problems. Greetings from Austria!
