I've been working as a welder for a couple of years so I winced at your MIG work and also wished you'd made a jig to keep it all straight but fair play to you Blake, you did it all yourself and it rides. It's certainly inspired me to look for old steel frames to chop up.

Well done with the build, it'll be interesting to see how robust it is... I spent 6 months in Bournemouth in 2018, Boscombe to Sandbanks is a brilliant way to relax... I only had a folding bicycle for a bit of commuting but I liked how accessible the countryside was for walking and cycling... Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

As a gentleman from the Glorious Republic of Kazakhstan once said: A GREEAAT SUCCESSS! Nice adventure, the journey I mean, as regards the bike - although I've known how to stick-weld for 5 years, I'll stick to using frames built by guys... or gals.. in large, massive houses with names like Giant, Trek, Corratec, etc. on them. Greetings from the glorious republic of Latvia and keep pedalling.

Impressive to say the very least that the bike is actually not only functional but seems to be holding up quite nicely. My biggest take away though is the importance of riding to explore, escape and enjoy life at slower speeds. Great video. 💪🏼🤘🏼
