Cycling the Transfăgărășan (Carpathian Mountains) from the south starting in Cabana Le Cetate to the Summit Balea Lac (6500 ft) then returning to the start point. Romania is an excellent place to cycle and this route in the transfagarasan shows it. What we should have really done some more research as we were not ready for meeting the bears! If you are thinking of doing this route make sure you also do the Northside as that is one outstanding piece of road / tarmac.
Apologies for the quality of the video I didn't plan on keeping it as it was my #cycliq camera and only when I finished did I think I'll keep that. The time stamp was set to UK time so real time was plus 2 hours.
