Over the winter, I was craving some sunshine and a chance to get out on the bike, so I took a trip to Gran Canaria - and it did not disappoint! This ride was my favorite of the week - up through Fataga, then a great descent near San Bartolome and onto Santa Lucia for a well-needed coffee and cake stop!
This was a 73km route offering stunning views and challenging climbs, including the drag up and through Fataga. You can stop for a caffeine shot at El Labrador and then enjoy a great descent into Santa Lucia, stopping at a small bakery for homemade cake and coffee. Finish with a final descent back to the coastal road and then a straight ride (wind assisted hopefully!) to Maspalomas.
