Man love Steve's Mockenbird. I had one in the early 90s that i played for years and it was so comfortable and sounded great but my drug problems took it away from me. Happened to me everytime i would get a guitar. Ive been clean for 4 years now but have yet to buy another guitar again because i cant lose another one. Now that im clean for years i think im ready!!

these guys are the sickest, love their stuff, and to hear this big burly death metal frontman say "got this amp for christmas", makes me feel real nice, thats fuckin rad lol.

There's something about these guys I just love. Their music stacks up with the best death metal acts going today, and their frontman is touring with an amp his parents got him for Christmas several years ago. That is equal parts funny, sweet, and awesome. It's refreshing also to see Steve show that you don't need to be a gearhead to be in a band and make music.

It still amazes me when guitarists don't know what pickups or tubes they are using. That blows my mind. I don't understand it. Can someone make it make sense?
