Whats fibreglass? Everything but the cabin is steel. The cabin and tub is steel. The bonnets steel. So the only thing fibreglass is gaurds 🤣

I can’t believe how jealous everyone is in the comments, “err built not bought, more like bought not built” “err sounds like he just threw his wallet at the mechanic”. This rig is mad, it doesn’t matter if you build it yourself or buy the parts and get it put in for you, if you’re the one who spent the money to get it to where it is you could sort of say you built it.

Who am I agreed and chances are if he had to build it himself it would be the same as everyone else’s. lots of high end engineering and fab that is beyond the realms of most DIY for skill and equipment

G'day my fellow manchild👋 This is pretty much exactly what my ideal build looks like. (Maybe twin cab and somewhere to put something/anything in the tray lol) For that reason I'm a little scared to know what it costs, cause dreaming is free but the reality of it involves would more than likely destroy that dream, I would imagine. On the picture at 3:35 you can see that he also runs a set of maxxis trepadors, possibly in 17" rims. This is actually a smart move, lower sidewall for going fast, bigger for rocks, just have to change the wheels.

A new criteria for rig rundowns... get a regular highway patrol officer to go over each truck and rate them out of 10, on how easy it would be to defect. This hilux, would be 10/10 defected if driven through a country town in NSW.
