These are all good points but you forgot to tackle the problem of the preparedness of cities in Metro Manila when calamities struck. For the past years, we saw a lot of flooding(whick adds to the challenge faced by its citizens). It also one of the factors if a city is livable. It also poses danger to a lot of people and cripple the economy significantly.

John vincent Negrite That's a good point, especially for a metropolitan area like Metro Manila which is prone to natural disasters.

Watching in 2021. The pandemic now advocates for more open spaces and bicycle transport. I hope the government would improve our bicycle and mass transit infrastructure, because as Ms. Dani stated, having a mobile city is imperative in building a great city. Enough with the road infrastructure. I hope politicians this upcoming elections promote bicycle and mass transport as their platforms, so far, however, I have not heart of a candidate both in local and national elections that are pushing for these. This needs to be a priority, city life affects us all.

And increase walkability too, not a car centric suburban wasteland

@@Boysdont_cry I agree. Walkability is a must. Not everyone has cars, but everybody has feet 😁

Thankfully there are a lot bike ways being implemented but I think what we need more is true sidewalks instead of just sharing it with cars

that may sound good to you but all you're doing is making it harder for people to live (referring to the criminalizing of slums) if you do not get to the root of the problem your band-aid solutions will do nothing. A 2 child policy may also sound good but again, you need to think about why people have so many children despite not having the ability to support them. Tackle the roots and help the people or the problem will keep growing.
