Remember when Sinclair produced a 2 hour hit piece on John Kerry and forced all their affiliates to air it during prime time the week before that election? This isn't new. Sinclair has direct review of every single newscast on their stations and often requires carriage of their propaganda.

I quit watching a local Providence, Rhode Island channel when they started to broadcast Boris Epschteyn's "editorials" and show puff-pieces from places like Iowa which had NO local ties. Boris is one of Trump's many indicted co-conspirators and he claims to be a lawyer. But he was a daily feature on all Sinclair "news" broadcasts just after Trump was elected in 2016 and I could hear the Russian propaganda spurting out of his pie-hole. I will never watch that channel again and neither will many locals. It's not about US..

Sinclair has a monopoly on media and should be sued. The company needs to be broken up into smaller local stations. The fairness doctrine should be reinstated. Gray television also needs to be broken up. No one should have a monopoly on any media outlet.

WIRY 1340 AM RADIO in Plattsburgh NY plays Sinclair News every half hour where they used to use AP and CNN every hour . Their music is top notch 70s -80s rock with a lot of hardly played songs and really cheesy commercials . But since Trumps election loss they've lost DJ after DJ and ad revenue because of the decidely right wing bias made by the Station Owner and Editorial Director Dave Andrews . I thought that his anti Authority and anti Democratic leanings were that of a Libertarian because the Station played such really diverse and good music . I guess the hatred one has for others that are different from you burned a Good Radio Station asunder . Sinclair is as dangerous as FOX but not as Stupid and showy . The Stealh Propaganda Networks of Sinclair are helping destroy Democracy in America and must be stopped .

@@Silence_Duder_Gooder - This is a single CHANNEL, not a network. Sinclair Broadcasting is an ownership conglomerate (of sorts) which owns channels across multiple networks (CBS, ABC, etc.). Neither Sinclair or MSNBC are NETWORKS. Try harder next time.

A monopoly of a sector, industry, of commodities that have a major effect on our daily routine, affects it in a major way is not good. Regulators are necessary to avoid this. Watch dog advocacy groups and third party inspectors are necessary. Deregulation, in this sense is not good.

I'm a retired therapist...and I have given that test hundreds of time...and NO, that is NOT amazing. This could possibly the easiest cognitive test that exists....usually given to individuals who are already declining with cognitive deficiencies and by giving that test we are trying to figure how much longer it will be before they can't pass a test this simple...

It's called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test MoCA. It was developed by a neurologist from Montreal. He said what trump claims to be on the test, is not on the test or that sequence of animals is not on it. I also noticed that trump will brag about passing this "complicated" math problem that he blurts out at his rallies to his supporters, but whenever he says the numbers they always change. Then he says only 2% of people can pass it and that he passed it. He says to his supporters that they wouldn't be able to get the right answer, and these supporters still cheer him on. It's really something not of this earth. Like Nicolle says "earth 2."

@@BunnEFartz He brags about passing them all the time, trump's dad fred was diagnosed with mild senile dementia at age 86. I think trump has Frontotemporal dementia. It amongst other things causes a person to have difficulties making the right sounds and saying incoherent things. trump has problems saying words like "Venezuela" or he said "Saudi Arabia ah-re-be-do-ahhh."

A man who is well versed in politics, mediation, taking care of the citizens needs as much as he can get Congress to do and is mentally stable that he doesn't make you don't augh at him every time he shows up on a stage? Or - a man who is absolutely uneducated in politics, wants everything his own way, wants everything to be about him, and wants to punish his detractors and wants to control the citizens as much as he can but who is so mentally lost when he gets in front of people to speak and gets so far off the trail that "he's funny"? Personally, I want a well-versed knowledgeable politician who cares about our country and its people. That is not Trump.

This can be directly blamed on Ronald Reagan for revoking the Fairness doctrine in 1987. The Fairness Doctrine was a policy introduced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 1949 that required broadcasters to present controversial issues of public importance in a manner that was honest, equitable, and balanced. The doctrine aimed to ensure that differing viewpoints were represented on public airwaves, but it was abolished in 1987.

The union representing the reporters of the Baltimore Sun wrote an editorial about the injection of reporting by Sinclair and modifications to articles they had written. The kicker, their contract ends this month. Sinclair said something along the lines that it is important to listen to reporter complaints but it is important to understand that Sinclair owns the paper.
