This made me cry because this is my and my husband's song too and I would go CRAZY if he died. Like I would be a trainwreck without him! I'm so so sorry you lost your love, but I'm praying that there is some sort of afterlife for those who pass on. I pray you will reunite again and that God give you strength to carry on until that day comes 🙏 God bless you and for anyone who has found their soulmate, DON'T take a moment for granted because someday God will call them back home.

@@roderickcampbell2105 Good morning Roderick. Thank you for the reply. Sometimes life goes full circle as I will explain, from 1964 that special someone and I dated, never going with anyone else. Like all teenagers we had break-ups but we seem to always end up back together going to movies , Christmas , Easter, shows in the downtown Brooklyn NY, and the Friday night dances at her high school where the Catholic brothers who chaperoned tne dance made sure we had some daylight between the couples when Unchained Melody was played. LOL But sometimes life comes along like a sharp stick in the eye. Our lives took a different path, she married someone else as did I. I always felt what if. Someone else came along and became my wife and that special someone again, but the old sharp stick in the eye came along and took her in the space of one day 19 years ago. I never found anyone again. Worked 43 years at the same company, retired and when fishing and gave up chasing the skirts 18 years ago. Now the full Circle part. That first special someone and I, paths have crossed. We have talked for weeks, and are going to meet, we are both free. This week I will drive 7 hrs to meet her, and I have no idea how this will turn out. Why fate, karma, destiny has caused this I don't know, But I will follow this. This is what I would call a full circle of life. Best to you and YOUR special someone.

I taught myself to play this on the piano when my fiance and I were living 3000 miles apart and I missed him so much. That was in 1965 when the Righteous Brothers' version came out. Now, nearly 60 years later, my wonderful husband has passed away and I miss him everyday. The message is even more meaningful now than it was then.

At 24 years old my mom lost her mother. She told me this song always reminded her of her mother, after she passed. So, this is now the anniversary of MY mother death. And now this song reminds me of MY mother. I know nobody's going to read this, but I know it's here. I am in tremendous depression today. I miss my mom soooo much, I have no words to even describe the pain. If your mom and dad are still with you, please, please tell them you love them and give them a hug. If you are estranged from your mom, or any family member, but you still love them, tell them you love them, make up, just do it. Because one day they'll just be gone, and you won't get the chance to tell them. Peace to you. ❤

I need your love I need your love God speed your love to me Lonely rivers flow To the sea, to the sea To the open arms of the sea, yeah Lonely rivers sigh "Wait for me, wait for me" I'll be coming home, wait for me Woah, my love, my darling I've hungered, hungered for your touch A long, lonely time And time goes by so slowly And time can do so much Are you still mine? Whenever , I hear this song, it reminds me of my grandparents. My grandfather died two years ago and my grandmother still misses him. This song reminds me of their strong love ,which even death did not part. Their love is so strong even after the death of their grandfather. One day when they meet again in heaven, I will play this song and celebrate their love with it ❤️

One of the best songs ever. Can't listen to it without remembering a time in my younger (much younger, lol) days. Was dancing nice and slow with a very attractive woman and a very sexy one. Thought I was about to be a lucky fellow when her boyfriend came in the club. A large man and quite tough and bad looking. Tucked my tail and eased back to my table. lol. I'm no coward but I'm not stupid either. lol. In my SLIGHTLY advanced years I prefer to just listen to the golden oldies and not take certain risks. Besides, I don't need to as I'm happily married now.
