Hey bro, thanks for watching and the feedback! I really appreciate it. I had thought about going in the frame like you did, but I worried over time it would rub and mess up my wire but that is probably stupid since it was in wire loom! 😂🇺🇸. I might redo it actually, who knows! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Man, can I relate to that clusterfuck of wires and the relay. Nothing pisses me off more than poor engineering, half assed packaging and lack of instructions. That’s why I buy American, not that crap from rice paddy countries. Keep on keeping it simple. And thank you for your service.

Is that a 15 amp fuse holder that you put on the hot wire? Is that so the fuse will burn out before any major electical issues?

Did you do a video on replacing your halogens with LED’s? Looking at doing that for my 2020 but, I’m not sure if they are just plug in play or if they require a harness.

Well I did a video on changing my headlights out to the lariat sports. If have LED bulbs in it already but it will show you what to do to take lights out. And mine are just plug and play. Thanks brother! Yes, I was a lineman for about 11 years! I work at Entergy. 3.5 years ago I decided I wanted more of a life and not to live by the phone. Hey Colt - thanks for this video. I just picked up a ZROADZ reverse light kit for my 2021, harness came with the relay and switch all pre-wired. I assume I am basically cutting out the relay and switch and butt splicing all red and black from the light connectors to the upfitter. Hope I am correct - thanks!

Because if I did that I wouldn’t be able to flash someone that was riding my ass or if I’m parked and have a trailer hooked up, I can just flip them on and see everything on trailer to unload or load up. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Are upfitter switches 1-4 only hot when truck is on? and 5/6 hot all the time?

I added lights below the bumper mounted to the outside of the frame and just spliced into my reverse lights for the trailer wiring. I ha e 5th wheel prep though so i found it was easier to cut in where the harness goes upto the box.

I was for about 12 years. I still work at the power company, just transferred to a different trade. Wanted more family time since I got married and had a kid. Same hourly pay just not as much OT. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
