Every single she put out was crazily catchy and massive and brings out a lot of memories related to each one. I know exactly where I was the first time listening to Only Girl, We found love, diamonds and work and many other singles which have kept me company during phases of my life. I can't deny that her Gggb Era deeply influenced me as I was in my teenager years during the period I started being really musically aware. Also the years after that she always managed to stay fresh, relevant and creative with each era, these are the main things for a successful long career. Her voice gets me every time, there's something so special about it that captures you immediately, you just can't resist it. Her looks are one of a kind and I've considered her for many years as the most beautiful woman on earth. If it wasn't for Gaga, she would have been my favorite artist 100%, she still holds #2. I'm happy for what she has achieved and how heavily she influenced pop music with her songs and style. Really amazing career, congrats Riri

MJ would be proud....they're in completely different leagues but you can't deny that so many female artists have tried and unfortunately failed at what Rihanna has accomplished (and at the young age of 28 at that)....especially being a small town girl from Barbados. This is coming from a hardcore Michael Jackson fan. She don`t need to say "thank you Michael" etc. She said it was an honor to receive the award which is a thank you in itself, when the award goes under Michael`s name. She is also one of the few who have received the award to call it the "Michael Jackson Vanguard Award".. Take several seats people, it`s not that deep. Even Beyoncé who`s interacted with Michael so many times, been to his concerts when she was a kid didn`t even call it the "Michael Jackson Vanguard Award"

Y'all out here talking like Rihanna should have said something back to Drake in her speech and turn it into a complete Drake and Rihanna moment instead of it being just about her. He wanted to include that he's been in love with her for 22 years in his speech, great, but that's not what she's winning the award for. She thanked everyone she wanted and moved on which is what speeches after winning an award should be like. All of their paparazzi pics from the last few days show these two are totally in love and happy and I'm sure it's been like this for months. Stop judging their relationship from the 2 mins you saw on live TV and let them be happy.

Rihanna is under top 20 most selling albums 15. after the rolling stones 200 mio selling albums at the age of 28. same as celine dion , whitney houston, mariah carey and she is younger. we can say not always the best singer is the succesful artist. if you compare who is better singer than the divas above but rihanna is a better entertainer.

i'm proud of the caribbean countries, and i'm not even near from that place, but the fact that rihanna, nicki minaj, bob dylan, ricky martin, camila cabello, sean paul, bad bunny, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, pitbull and not only them, but also jlo, cardi b, and others who are from caribbean heritage, what makes me the most proud is that those are very unpopulated and low economy countries, and somehow, artists manage to go through it.
